" 10-20 minutes at a time" brother, you are the only person I would willingly listen to an hour of rope lessons from.

I learned more about knots in 7 minutes than I gave in 25 years of living.

He is the best teacher of outdoor lore on the interweb.

Knots... the skill you won’t know how important it is until you need the one that you did not practice.

As a kid I went through the whole scout movement, I progressed onto cadets and from there I've enjoyed bushcrafting. But I have never felt so informed. Let alone after only 7mins (including an introduction!!!!) no frills all skills. Love it!

I am so glad you said that about us not being able to make it to the classes etc… it’s why I buy most of my gear from you, to give back to you what you give to me in the way of education.  Thank you for your time, Dave. These videos are excellent!

Fantastic explanation. Dave is without a word one of the best intructors in the art of survival.

I don't spend a lot of time on YT but this guy is my new internet hero.  I've watched soooo many his vids.  The quick versions on tiktok are good too.   A rope clinic is a GREAT idea.  I was wondering if there was a how to guide on all knots and lashes and how/  why you need them in what situation.  Good job.

I love that he gives classes for on this that he charges for but offers all the info away for free online. I’d love to attend one of your classes but you know we can’t afford it or circumstances won’t allow and you offer the info for free. Thank you

This is going to be great series. Looking forward to it!

Thanks for running this multi-part rope clinic. Your explanations are very easy to comprehend. There are many channels teaching knots, some more understandable than others. One of my favorite knot channels is an Asian guy that videos his content very well, but I have to mute the sound because he does in his own language!!!

I know I’m going to learn something here! How do people dislike good free instruction!?

An the fact that you put this intel out there for others to learn is why I’d cut out an eye to work with you.

This is a great idea. I sure can use a good in-depth refresher and you're a great teacher!

Excellent information, looking forward to the upcoming series.

That'll be a playlist to keep bookmarked!

I'm on the road and only viewed 60 secs so far but Immediately clicked a Thumbs Up! I learned the importance and continued usefulness of ropes and knots on an Asplundh Tree Co. bucket crew over 20 years ago. Horrible pay for dangerous work but useful knowledge, some of which I've retained although nothing beats the repetition of actually doing it. Great stuff here! Con't watching when I'm home. 👍🏿

I worked as a traditional rigger for a while .
Well done.

Holy cow what a resource that I didn’t even know about until today.  Thank you for your content 🙏
