And I really like how customizing the color scheme of the brooch doesn't just make it more useful to the wearer, but also rather fits with the nature of these animals. They do, after all, tend to have colors and patterns that either help camouflage them or make them appear something they aren't. They've adapted to their environment, just like this brooch has been adapted by you, to fit with your mother's textile environment. It's quite poetic, really.
Like my actual favorite school teacher, you inspire, encourage me, and widen my horizon to more delightful possibilities.
The broach is a lovely little companion and Sophies rustly purrs are indeed like a fire crackle.
