We need a Star Wars Movie about Pilots and X-wings on secret missions.

I'm a 36 grown ass man, last year secretly i bought myself a Lego X-Wing, put it on the tree, and on Christmas day opened it and spent the afternoon assembling it.
It had been a while since I felt so happy.

Nothing more beautiful than a formation of X-Wings, convince me otherwise.

TIE Exist

X-Wing : I'm about to end this whole man career

I loved how Rouge One showed one of the dark sides to the Rebellion. The attack on Scarif cost the Rebels good pilots, ground forces, and ships they, at the time, could not replace. The only reason Luke was allowed to go anywhere near a X-wing was because the Rebellion was short on bodies to put into said X-wings... and Biggs Darklighter vouched for him. Admiral Raddus' ship, \Profundity\, was a heavily modified (meaning *Expensive*) MC75 Star Cruiser. The loss of that ship alone cost the Rebellion a pretty pen- ahem, *Credit*, not to mention the loss of an experienced *Admiral*.

Be that as it may, the cost was overall WORTH the loss of manpower and equipment as the Rebellion succeeded in getting the plans for the Death Star... but the losses would set back the Rebels strike capabilities that would take years to replace.

If theere was ever a recruitment propaganda visual for the rebellion this definitely does it.

It's kind of sad that after billions of dollars and nearly a decade of ownership, this movie and The Mandalorian are the only things out of Disney Star wars that have actually felt like they belong.

Gareth Edwards absolutely knocked it out of the park with Rogue One.

2:05 that sync of that x-wing be shot down was awesome

This is the way Star Wars should be:dark and horrific.Death is real.

I don't hate The Force Awakens, but the Rogue One scenes were simply better and there was more of them

I love when that X-Wing destroys the Star Destroyer's shield generator, flies through the explosion and peels off. Badass. The Rogue One scenes are so good.

X-wings are the coolest thing ever created. Ever

X-wing is like Supermarine Spitfire. Became legend duriing duty.

Fighter comparison:
Clone wars: capable but expensive fighters that kept many a pilot safe and in the fight, excellent ramge of light interception craft like a V wing, or V19 torrent, to heavy bombers and fighters such as the Y wing, and ARC170 respectively

CIS(Droid): use complex but cheap crafts to mass produce an armadas worth of capable but predictable fighter droid craft, however thier small interceptor craft was very well made

Rebel alliance: gets ships based off the combat data provided by past models of strike craft such as clone war veteran ships like Z95 headhunter, or ARC 170, which led the company that made both to creat an extreemly high quality fighter for multipurpose service in the T65 X wing, they also use the previous clone wars vet Y wing bomber, the A wing based off the clone wars V wing however improving in all aspects of its former, and the advanced but difficult to master B wing cruiser crusher heavy bomber strike craft

Empire: uses cheaply made and mass produced TIE in space superiority fighters that almost always fails against the ships its meant to stop, and is not in failing of its pilots but moreso die to the fact it has nothing in the means of armor or shields, and pitiful firepower, they also use an interceptor that also has poor shielding, only its speed and firepower are improved, fortunately admirals like grand admiral thrawn developed competent strike craft such as the TIE defender, TIE hunter and other models unfortunately the empire continued down the line of cheap cost effective strike craft

Me: joins the rebellion out of love for the T65 X wing

I always thought of the X-wing as what a military fighter in space should be.

Versatile, multi-role and aerodynamic. I've heard complaints about how you don't need aerodynamics in space for a spacecraft, and for a civilian vessel, those people are absolutely right. But for a military vessel, combining both is idea. You only need to train one individual. True the training will be longer but the sheer quality of that individual would be unmatched.

1:48 Now there’s a man who loves his job. 😁

The empire needs to stop building super weapons. Imagine a squadron called Roadrunner and they bad guys all have ACME products...

Who else heard this song, but instead of watching the video you pretended to be in an X-Wing with this playing in the cockpit?

Glad rogue one Including the most important thing for XWing pilots strong mustache game
