Same dude. I dont want to read about anything. I dont want to see any "leaks". I'm excited...just pure joy. I cried. A lot. I hugged my children and tried to come up with the words "you get to play the game how we IMAGINED it to be when we were kids", and i failed with my words. I couldn't even speak. I'm so happy we are all here today, experiencing this together.

Definitely relatable. I was 11 when I got it for Christmas 98. It was magical. Can't wait for 11/5.

I’m nearly 38 and I can’t wait!

I completely agree with you! I really cannot wait to play this. I still remember how magical it was back in the 90s when my older brother and I played the original on the N64.

I’m too old to be this giddy with excitement

I share the sentiments in this video. Easily my most anticipated game. I can’t think of anything else I really care that much about to be honest.

I was already 30 when OoT came out and I remember it like it was last week, not almost 30 years ago. Back then you had to go to a shop to buy a copy. I drove into the city after work to get it, came home, put a pizza in the oven, fed my cats, put my comphy seat in front of the TV, got my pizza and started playing. At some point my cats came and complained and that was the first time I looked at my watch and it was almost 2am, and 'I needed to get up at 5:30 again. I've spent almost 7 hours playing and forgetting the time. I've never had that experience again since then. I got lost completely in that game and I can't wait to immerce myself in the game again.

I wish I could like this video more than once.

I’m 42 years old, and I’ll never forget the pure sense of adventure Ocarina of Time gave me back in ’98. Skip forward to today, and honestly? Nothing has ever rivaled it.

I haven’t felt this kind of hype since I was a kid, obsessively flipping through monthly gaming mags and dreaming about the next big release. Looking at the sheer detail they’ve poured into this world, I know this remake is going to be something special.

For me personally, there is no other game on the horizon I need more than this—GTA included. I can’t wait to boot it up and see that opening shot. Nintendo knows how much this means to the community, and I know they're going to deliver!

I never understood why people dont like how the game looks. It simultaneously looks amazing and how i remember the original.

About to pull the master sword so i can play right now. Meet me at the temple of time if you with me.

I’m watching this literally playing ocarina of time rn on the virtual console, I have my n64 hooked up downstairs 🔥

Zelda has always held a special place in my heart. It was the first game I got on my NES console back in the day. I was SUPER lucky to get one for Christmas at that age, as we grew up pretty poor and my mom script and saved for a whole year to get me that game system.  She spilled the beans a week or two before Christmas to let me know I was getting one, but unfortunately  my folks couldn't afford any games for it and I would be on my own to barrow some from friends or whatnot. So I did some trades with my friend who happen to have an extra copy of The Legend Of Zelda (The original OG Gold cartridge we all know and love)  Probably the best Christmas I ever had growing up, I spend countless hours playing that game during that holiday break and I still play it today.

During the original release time of Ocarina, I never got to play it. I didn't own a 64 and also my family had a lot of health crisis that kept me busy as caretaker for my father, then my mother too as she had a stroke caring for my father and then my grandfather moved in with us who also had a laundry list of health issues. So the game went under my radar needless to say.

But here we are now, I just turn 51 and I have my pre-order in for the game and trying to get my hands on the pro controller too (I know I'll get one eventually / kick rocks scalpers) I'm super excited to play it for the first time and I see the original is available on Nintendo Online, I may have to give it a go....

Zelda is my favorite series hands down. I grew up with it, I was there when it started as a kid. My daughter and I enjoy the latest games from the series too. For my birthday she got me Tears Of The Kingdom when it came out, with her first ever paycheck from her first ever job and that makes it even more special.  I'm not a super fan with all the collectables as I just simply don't have the space to display it, but I do love the franchise and it is amazing that I can go back and play the originals and the remakes now. I have every game they have issued for the Switch and Switch 2 so far and play the OG games Online. Thanks for letting me ramble and remember and sharing your excitement for the game that got me excited all over again too. No matter how old you are, you can still be a kid at heart and instantly return to that age in your memory.

I had this on in the background on auto play and when I came back it looked like you were conducting an invisible orchestra.... 🤣

I'm in my late 30s, and I never grew up playing a single Zelda game. I do have two younger brothers (35 and 21 resepctively) who did, but I was more into other games. It wasn't until a few years ago that I, out of boredom and with nothing to do, bought BotW and instantly fell in love. As soon as I finished that, I bought TotK, and while I also did enjoy that, I still think BotW is better. So I am still rather new to the Zelda franchise but I am already looking forward to OoT remake.

Funny story, I was at GameStop to pick up a controller for my son and one of the very young workers asked another young customer if they wanted to pre order Ocarina of Time. The young guy, looked like 20, said "what is that ?". The employee said, "some really old Zelda game remake." I was just shocked. I was 14 when it initially came out in 98. I was thinking, if that game is really old, then I must be ancient 😂 I am super hyped for it.

Zelda 1 with the gold cassette in the 80's was the most special of every Zelda. It did make me smarter for sure, it was hard, very hard, and I finished the game with all heart at 6 years old in 1988. People don't talk or point out the obvious about Zelda. This idea of a quantity of red heart in a row for your life is still the most iconic thing about the game itself. Human association with the heart form is Love, not health. And when you are a child finding a big heart to add more life, that's basically one of the main incentive and core mechanics of the game because of the pleasure it was giving us. Having a sword to attack is also meaningful with 1 wooden sword 1 metalic sword 1 master sword. The game have secrets, puzzles, and an absurd list of different items, including a Flute, and the melody of that Zelda 1 Flute is the main melody of Ocarina of Time. So you see, Zelda 1 soul is the reason Ocarina is what it is today. This console seller game making grown up reliving post trauma lol.

I am nearly 62 i played in 98 as well. Then I had the pleasure of watching my children play it many times. I agree with everything you said. My most anticipated remake in my gaming history. All my children are adults now of course and they are all just as excited as me to play again. Great video thank you for the nostalgic look at what has seemed like forever since the announcement. I too have been wishing ocotober would just hurry up and go away. Which is mad at my age wishing time would go faster. Time does move faster when you get older I have no idea why but it really does. We have guy fawks night here in the UK on the 5th of November a night I personally don't like but from now on it will be Ocarina of time day. Take care all and happy Ocarina the 5th to you all.

I bought a switch 2 the moment I seen the release trailer. Im beyond amped but also blown away by this system. It's freaking amazing.

When I hear the rumors early this year I was so hyped. My last game console was the N64 and last game I played was OoT. I got the pre-order for OoT Switch2 and need to buy the console soon
