We are fully securing our campervan build — turning it from an easy target into a heavily protected, theft-resistant van with 6 layers of security.
This isn’t just a basic upgrade. This is a complete van security system.
We install heavy-duty deadlocks, reinforce vulnerable areas with anti-drill plates, and apply smash-resistant window security film. Then we take it even further with a full CCTV system, a real-time GPS tracker, and a hidden immobiliser that stops the van from being driven away — creating serious protection for this high-value campervan build.
To put it to the test, we simulate a real-world theft scenario and use our tracker to see if we can successfully locate and recover the van — proving whether this setup actually works when it matters most.

Surely the best way to protect a vans security isnt whacking the whole job all over YouTube😂

Top Tip: Don't show off how you secured something because attackers will use information that to find a way around.

15 grand a year for auto insurance on one vehicle? 1,250 a month??That’s absurd. That’s literally 10X more monthly than I pay for full coverage

For those saying 'You'll never stop a determined thief': We know. The purpose of adding security is to discourage scrotes from nicking your van, in favour of someone else's.

I would recommend taking off the door cards and also the cups on the sills, then vacuuming out the metal chips that fell inside them. You may think it's nothing, but I've seen too many times that the chips start to rust, and that spreads in time to the body metal because there is always a little bit of moisture or condensation inside the doors and body

One wire connects the relay to a hidden microswitch. If you don’t press the microswitch after entering the car, nothing will work. It’s always active and can also be connected to a screw—you just need to touch it. The static electricity in your body will trigger the relay and allow the car to start.

they could literally just pop the drivers window and get in it in seconds 😂😂

It’s going to be one heavy van when it’s done.

I’m so happy you made this video. This has provided me with knowledge to protect my car. Which I was going to sell because it’s so easy to break into. But now I will contact these companies and get added layers of security. Appreciate the effort you took to create the video. Honestly this is super good and I’m very happy I’ve now subscribed too! 😊

This is an instruction video for the thieves to study so they can counteract your anti theft measures. Never reveal your secrets.

If you're on a budget, I always just put the fuel pump relay in my pocket.

Might still need upgrades to stop them stealing things out of the van, but they won't be driving off with it easily since it'll crank but not start.

Great video but me personally would use security nuts to secure the kit on the back. And the rear door plate I would make an internal plate that uses the current plate fixings but make this wider to prevent scum getting to the internal release arm on the mechanism.

you can never have to much security , good job fellas

@Jubbe1940 4 months ago

All this security stuff is more expensive than my Van including stuff and my wife!

@shuttledave57 6 months ago

Easy fix, cut the live wire to the starter solinoid and put connect to a pushpull switch, this can be under the dash on in the grill. Also 2 relays connected to the interior light and horn is a good alarm. (put air horns in)

@Resonate-Media-Net 6 months ago

I wonder if Van manufacturers will offer these security measures as options when buying the van!

You forgot about 7'th layer of protection. When someone is banging hard into car, the system he should report immediately to police with location sended.
