Anyone else remember shooting the Nylon 66 as a kid? Good times!

I found a brown tube feed Mohawk at a garage sale last year. Older man selling everything he had so he and his wife could go cross country in a motor home. Boys, you're not going to believe this! But... $75 for the rifle, and an extra $10 for boxes and boxes of various types of .22s! ... All vintage, full and had original K-Mart price tags on them for $1.18 each! Once in a while, we fall into one!!!

I bought one for $70 back in the seventies. Still have it, and it still shoots flawlessly. Amazing rifle!

First rifle I ever shot. Just inherited my dad's old Nylon 66 and it's still a tack driver.

I still have my N66 that I purchased in 1978 and yes it still shoots spot on.

I have three of them, brown, black, and the coolest green ones ! Love them all , but the black is my favorite.

I’m a 69 year old Australian , I remember my older brother had one when I was about 8 years old

I remember Dad coming home with one in the mid sixties. He put a big o scope on it. It was a blast. I was allowed to hunt on my own with it , but, I had to have a squirrel for every bullet spent. I came back with all my bullets most of the time. I was taught at an early age your don't spray and pray. You aim breath and squeeze. Lol love the video brought back a lot of good memories. Thanks.

I disassembled and cleaned my friend's Nylon 66 for him. It was handed down from Grandad who left it outdoors until it was needed. Of course the blueing vanished and the exposed metal on the barrel had deep pits. After reassembly it still shot and functioned spot on !

I'm turning 75 in jst a few months it's a great little rifle and one of my favorite

I recall this was a very balanced semiautomatic that ate any 22lr round I fed and very accurate. Must have been in the 70's since

Just bought one today. An older guy listed an anvil on marketplace for sale and when I got there he had already sold it so I asked if he had any guns he wanted to sell and he sold me 6 guns and this was one of them. Seems like a good one

My brother and I were gifted Nylon 66’s in the summer of 1966. He was 12 I was almost 11. I still have mine, and a few years ago I put a Burris rimfire scope, variable power 3 to 9. With reticle markings for farther shots. Although I own several other 22 rifles, this is still my go-to rifle. With that scope and good ammunition, I can still drop certain targets, large rodents at 200 yards with one shot. My brother has purchased a few more of these rifles for his grandsons. 😊 I have no idea how many shots I have made through this gun, thousands and thousands. And I have never had a misfire or a single problem with it.

I have one. It’s been in the family since bought new. It is amazingly accurate. It’s the one gun I own that I will never part with—until the time comes to pass it down to the next generation, but it’s staying in the family.

My first nylon was a single shot at 11 years old. I have another one now and a 66. Both are nice condition. Growing up with the single shot built muscle memory that lasts to this day. Hefting either seems like taking a breath just natural, at 72 years old They are a great occupants of my safe.

In the late 1960s a friend of mine owned a Nylon 66. I was impressed with it. Wishing I'd have picked up one.

I love this gun. It was my first in the 60s. It was a tough little bugger, and I could really deadeye with it. It was stolen in the late 70s, and I missed it ever since. So, my son found one at a super price in mint condition, and now I've had one again for several years. It's a great varmint gun, and much needed as we live in the country.

I just inherited my grandfathers nylon 66 and it shoots so smooth and straight, my favorite gun I own

I was in the 8th grade around 1965. I was looking through a Gun Digest, drooling over the different rifles and stuff when I first saw the Nylon 66. I wanted one real bad...!!! I still want one real bad...!!!
