This is my first attempt at tarp camping. It is also the first time I have camped on a hike. I think it went pretty well and I enjoyed it more than I can describe.

I never comment on videos but I got to say this was one impressive video. It felt more real then many others. I could "connect" more to this one cause it was nice to see that you had to, for example, replan the rout and that the water wasnt as close as you hoped but you solved it. Stuff like this comes with the hike, and thats one of ALL the nice things. I like the transition between random facts, to some talking and then also some quiet time were you just show what your doing. + The camera/video quality was really good. Wish you all lucky!

Pretty sure that's not blueberries. That's what I call odon (bog bilberry in English). Totally perfekt to eat and i think there's more vitamin C in them compared to blueberries.

First of all, my compliments on the videowork. Really like your stile.
And I don't want to take the moral high ground, as I'm fully aware of the mistakes I make myself.
(The ones that I'm aware of, that is. I guess I do a lot more stupid stuff. But when it doesn't lead to pain, embarrasment or accidents, I probably don't even realise that.)
But I also want to keep enjoying great videos like these. So here a a few observations.
And you're fully entitled to totally ignore them. After all, I'm just a bloke behind a screen on the internet.
Please do realise that you're all alone out there.
That axe came wayyy to close to your left hand. Just use a stick to hold that log upright.
Using a saw above your leg can lead to a very serious injury.
Just as juggling a pot with boiling water with a stick. I'd recommend using some leather gloves around pots, pans and the campfire.

Hmpf, a dead standing tree might be perfect firewood, but according to the Swedish ’allemansrätten’ (the law about ’freedom to roam and camp’) you’re not allowed to take it down unless you own the land.
