Welcome to Casualties Unknown: One of the most brutal games we’ve ever played. It is an unforgiving cave-exploration survival simulator. How I would explain this game to someone is imagine yourself trying to go down a cave in real life. If you hurt yourself, its not like every other video game where you lose a chunk of your health but other than that you’re still moving like you were at full HP. No, it is very VERY realistic and extremely medically advanced. Lets say you trip and fall quite a distance. Any other game you just land, get hurt, and wow look at that you can still sprint and jump with no drawbacks. Now for casualties unknown, you basically you really feel it. You damage your limbs, you cut yourself, and you are bleeding to death. You gotta bandage that up before its too late. Uh oh, you’ve got an infection. Gotta treat that before it gets worse.
To say that this is a difficult and punishing game is quite the understatement. You have to be extremely vigilant, knowledgeable of how to treat your condition, and mentally prepared when things go from bad to worse, better not panic. I’ve seen a teency weency bit of this game myself and thought that looks like the perfect game for me, so I got someone who doesn’t have the same outlook to join me involuntarily. Other than that, this was a really fun experience, and if this video does well, we’ll do more of this. I’ve said enough, let’s get to it.
