Casualties: Unknown is PURE CINEMA.... It's an AMAZING Indie Survival game with complex (and PUNISHING) healing mechanics and brutal dangers. I wanted my first run to really feel REAL. So, I challenged myself to give it my all with one rule in mind... Go in BLIND, with only ONE SHOT...

This game (previously Scav Prototype) has been on my radar for a long time, but I finally got around to playing it. So, join me and our scared fuzzy protagonist as I do my best to learn what it takes to survive Casualties Unknown.

getting an infection from a minor injury and dying either outright due to sepsis or due to panic surrounding the infection is a canon event for all new players

Genuinely impressive how you managed to avoid the beginner run-killers like the spikestabbers or landmines! Really show how far you can get just by exercising caution. Also an easy tip is as long as you're not full to vomiting(your expie starts to complain about being full) eat all the geofruit and cactus flesh you can. This helps keep your weight up and being satiated keeps your mood high

I have never seen someone not die in layer 1 on their first run.
There are two principles which layers 1 - 3 teach the player:

- Watch your step
- Take your time
- Watch. Your. Step.

It looks like you applied the principles out of intuition from the start, good job!

Very impressive making it to the desert first try, seeing some things was painful yet understandable considering it's your first time playing. Really happy to see you immediately using the crafting system and how cool it is. MaIterial pouch is the goat of all storage.
Was really painful seeing you not use the Medical Gauze you found at the beginning. It's a pretty good bandage.
Also if you can, try to avoid Glowplants as disinfectant too much. They damage your skin integrity, which can cause more infections later.

The reason why there is a time limit is because the healthchip in the expie's brain is also a bomb. Playing Unchipped is supposed to remove the time limit.

For fighting infections, if you collect fibers from plants, you can make canvases, each canvas can be turned into ripped dressing, 2 ripped dressing makes a bandage, then a bandage and 2 glow fruits (first become the liquid but then) turns into sterilized bandages, which can deal with infection
