I would love to do all this but live in Australia! So far, I've only ever recut some stones that I cut badly myself. Seems like a very good skill to have.

I’ve only wanted to learn how to recut/repolish, cutting from rough has never really interested me. Would love to do your class but not possible at the moment.
I do have a question though, do you prefer mast or handpiece for recutting?

Who bares the burden of the insurance? Like if i recut a jewlers stone to refurbished it and it is an emerald and its oiled and it explodes while im dopping it. Who pays for that how can i protect myself?

Is it true that most recuts are only on the crown? And if you're lucky, only the table?

Hi Justin k Prime I have a question about faceting. When I’m cutting a stone with a crown and completing all the crown facets, sometimes I accidentally set one facet at the wrong angle, and it creates a small extra/unwanted facet on the stone.

Could you please make a video showing how to fix this problem and how to properly correct the wrong angle without damaging the rest of the crown? I think this would be very helpful for beginner and intermediate gem cutters. Thank you!
