Hey mate!  Idk if youll remember me but im that guy who was having a lot of problems in life. I just wanna say that it all got better, and a lot of it was thanks to your stories❤keep doing this love ya!❤

The second they described the uncle, i knew what's up. Shadow over Innsmouth is my favourite Lovecraft story. Not really surprising, since it's also one of his most popular

This is one of the most vivid stories you’ve told recently, really felt like I was there

If he kept his mouth shut and let the doctor leave on the bus with the books 📚 he’d be so rich and comfortable 😭

I just spent three months in the hospital after I was in another coma, and I don’t know if I would’ve made it through with my sanity intact without your videos. Your narrations have honestly been the only thing that helped me relax enough to actually get some sleep and I just wanted you to know that finding your channel Was one of the best things to happen to me lately and you’ve helped me through some really dark times. ❤

Yea the mythos stories sound cool, never read them myself but I love watching the kids explaining each old God and their offspring

I look forward to these every single day, calms my anxiety more than anything else

Literally refreshed my feed and saw this pop up 30seconds ago. Wasn’t expecting another long story after Borrasca but thanks for making Monday morning at work bearable!

Lovecraft would be pleased with this, I think, with how he encouraged other writers to write their own fiction set in his world of the Cthulhu Mythos. "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" happens to be one of my favorite stories of his, and this does it justice! Good work on the parts of all involved!

I've not finished it yet. But it seems lovecraftian. Love it

Hey, another cheesy commenter! Just want to say that this channel got me back into creepypasta stories after years of not listening to them! I've been listening to them to and fro my classes at uni and they've been excellent. Really appreciate your narration not being completely monotone and the really great sound design! Thanks for the great content

Lovecraft can be a difficult one, the man is a master of both purple prose and long, obscure words. The Shadow Over Innsmouth would be a great one to narrate for you, both because it ties directly into this story and is where a lot of the cthulu mythos lore referenced in this story specifically comes from, but it also has great potential for sound design with multiple setttings including industrial warehouses, the seaside, buses, and museum tours.
One of my favorites is "The Festival," which I actually read on my channel a while back. Also, Sweet Ermengarde, which is not part of the cthulu mythos but was rather written to make fun of terrible romance novels of the time. I've always thought it would be a great april fools day prank for a horror channel to narrate that story, as it is a genuine Lovecraft story but has nothing to do with anything horror.

Id love more Lovecraft style stories.
Ive already asked before but it doesn't hurt to ask again.
Id love to hear a narration of "the colors from outer space".
Really enjoyed the video too, very well done narrations and TJ playing the cousin did incredibly well.

Ronnie. If you wanna get started with Lovecraft, I recommend the story "Dagon". Its related to this story, and its very short so a good way to dip your toes I think. About 15 minutes. I think Dagon first and then Shadow Over Innsmouth might be great! Looking forward to more of youe amazing work 👏

Yay a new story for me and my pups to listen to! I have 2 Huskys and they love to listen to you and Lighthouse Horror read stories with me. It's so funny because their heads pop up all annoyed anytime you're interrupted by ads 😂 something about yours and LHH's voices gets them to curl up together and just chill out, which is a far and few between activity for Huskys lol

As someone who barely reads comments, but hasn't slept for 23 years without meds and 20 without horror stories zoning out my 'dreams', I just want to say how beautiful the comments are. And you most certainly deserve them mate. Incredible help for people, as the first comment from @skyfallgaming2000 clearly shows. Wish all of you all the best <3

That's where the Muffin Man lives

Wow, this was incredible!  Thank you so much Dark Somnium!

Honestly this is my first time that I have ever heard of you, let alone heard you read. I was engaged right from the first paragraph and listened entrapped by your glorious play with words. It was a great story, narrated by an even greater Narrator. I gladly have subscribed and will be listening with great pleasure all that you have to offer. Signed one new fan. ❤
