I Explored some Pre-owned Pokemon Save Files!

I had been collecting some pre-owned save files over the last few months for shiny hunting and playthroughs, and wanted to check them out on video to see if there were any gems inside.

Plenty of ideas for future content from these finds. These were recorded before the news of Pokemon Bank and took a few weeks to put together. I hope you enjoy!

Going through these types of old save file vids in the astronomically small chance someone has my old Plat that I lost in 2009. Thank you for documenting these 🙏

Videos like these makes me wonder where my childhood copy of Ruby will end up. I don't plan on selling it since it has my save file of when I was 4, but obviously I won't always be around lol.

I only just recently sold my copy of platinum, I hope the person will enjoy it, there's not much left there but I don't think I erased the saved filed and watching your video I get how it could be interesting for the new owner to look over those saved datas! Thanks for the video😄

16:08 Funny story actually. If you do all May battles, you still don't see a Blaziken... She never battles you with a fully evolved starter

20:14 hacked

Also you'll notice, the Feraligatr in the save is the Regional Dex completion reward from Birch

6:49 aww I thought those two Pikachus might be from the Pokewalker but they say Viridian Forest. I know if I ever offload my copy of HeartGold, whoever gets it will probably find two Pikachus and a Pichu in my party too - a Fly Pikachu and a Surf Pikachu from the Pokewalker, since you have to delete their special moves to transfer them, and the spiky-eared Pichu of course.

Had to delete a save file on a copy of heartgold. 7/8 of the Pokémon captured weren't in the party or boxes or at the daycare either. Shame, was looking forward to playing against the elite four with mew😢

You can still shiny hunt in the GBA games. The things you can't do is grow berries and have a day/night cycle. Which is used mostly for Umbreon and Espeon. (If you set the games for night/day, you can get them, but it can't be changed later after the game starts) there's other features too that I can't recall at this moment.
