She was a machine gun of jokes. Sometimes her brain moved too fast, even for her. Talent like this is incredibly rare. Thank you for the laughs Joan, and we miss you terribly.

She was a sensation on "The Tonight Show" at that time.  There were times she got higher ratings hosting than Johnny. during the week.  People would tell each other, "Joan Rivers is on tonight!"  And Joan was an ultimate survivor- she would pick herself up even after the most horrid things happened to her.

She's just not everybody's cup of tea but I loved her sense of humour...I think she's hilarious, she's greatly missed...x

Hysterical! This woman was sharp as a razor and NEVER lost her edge, right up until the end. RIP Joan.

When comedians were funny. One of the all time greats.

Mother Teresa's old formal. What a brain she had.!!

Also saw Joan do stand up live 6 months before she passed and she was, unequivocally, better than ever.

Joan was like a fine wine, she got better with time. Her comedy really just got better and better. I was lucky enough to see her do stand up shortly before her death and I must say she was incredible. The routine she had here in this clip didn't even compare to how she had developed by the time she was in her late 70's and 80's. I really miss her. A lot of people gave her a hard time for her plastic surgeries but I have to say she really looked fabulous even at the age of 81.

Joan wasn't into drugs.  Every once in awhile when she was feeling depressed, she took some Fresca and threw it on a panty shield - it picks you right up!!!

Joan honey so many like myself will never get over the loss of you, I despise the bastards for cheating the world of the Queen of comedy, we're all crying over missing you, but also laughing because of your art and Spirit!!!

I liked her shtick best when it was 2/3 sarcastic self-deprecation and 1/3 mild bashing of others. Her rapid fire delivery always left me roaring.

Brilliant and quick as lightning! When she guest hosted the Tonight Show, her ratings were better than Johnny Carson when he was the host. She was pure genius!

Finding all of these clips of Joan Rivers over the years is really making her into my all time favorite comic. She’s a underappreciated LEGEND.

The studio audience loved her!

RIP gorgeous angel

She looks beautiful

Joan is one of those rare comedians who was ALWAYS on. During interviews even, she was always firing out jokes back to back. I miss her :(

her legs are in the air so much her feet are sunburned. classic Joan.

RIP Joan Rivers

She was at her peak until she died in her 80s. The funniest woman to ever live ❤
