These two threw more shade than an eclipse. It was awesome. I hope wherever they are they know how much they are deeply missed.

I love how Joan and Betty exchange lighthearted barbs. Both were comic geniuses, and both are truly missed. ♥️

The insults fly right off their tongues, without cursing and malice. Lots of mutual respect ! Truly 2 comedy legends!

Younger generations don’t understand how incredible it was to have Joan guest host The Tonight Show.  She was decades ahead of her time & not appreciated for what a trailblazer she was.  Betty & Joan together?  Genius! 🙏❤️👏👏👏

I don’t think the audience was prepared for how baudy Betty was! I’ve read that she actually had a very dirty sense of humor and that makes me love her even more.

It's so sad knowing that these 2 incredible ladies are no longer with us. Class acts, will never be forgotten.

Betty White--even when she was being risque in late-night tv mode--was just pure class and truly funny.

I worked with Joan for 12 years. You miss the glamour, the excitement, the crowds, the defiance, the wages. More, you miss the friend who valued the gift of intimacy, and gave it.  Most of all, you miss the person who, out of all on earth, most  and loudest made you laugh. We fenced jokes, like this. (Invariably, she'd win: of course she did. ) I never imagined she could have had an equal.  But now I do. Betty White! The speed, the dexterity, the parry and the lunge! Mesmeric, and heartbreaking.

At first I thought this was scripted, but no way. They are both just so quick and witty. "A nickle. But now it takes a little longer". Had me LOL for real!

The friendship between Joan Rivers and Betty White was beautiful. Thats what a genuine female friendship should look like! And hilarious!!

To those of us over 45: whenever you feel down, remember you came of age during the high points of the careers of both Betty and Joan, and can watch many clips of them at their finest and reminisce.

I love how they crack each other up, and crack themselves up. I miss this kind of banter and comedy. Refreshing and fun to laugh along.

This is a prime example of a master of her craft. Betty was 60 when this interview took place and she has the sharp, quick wit of a person a quarter of her age.

Joan Rivers would be better than any Late Night hosts today.

Their synergy is without equal!
