So for Center Mass, during the listening party, Tyler hopped in and laughed.  He goes, “so this next one…. Um, it’s my favorite one on the album… but… You’re not going to like it.  And I know, I know.  You’re thinking “no I’ll like it” but… no.  You’ll hate it on your first listen.”  (Laughs) “uh, there’s a lot going on in this song and it’ll feel all over the place for the first couple of listens but trust me, I think it’ll grow on you once you get your hands on this thing.  Anyways, here’s Center Mass.”

I liked it at first, and the second half, hearing it at the listening party I didn’t really process the lyrics, but I could feel the hurt in Tyler’s voice, and it was making me choke up. But it wasn’t until I really sat with it and processed the lyrics in the last half of the song that it reeeallllyyy got me.

It just broke me.
With it being back to back with Cottonwood, I think that it may be also addressing that loss.

I so love this album so much. None of my friends listen to TØP so it's really nice to see videos like this, it feels like listening to the songs with a friend.

I think Robot Voices is about him finding his love for producing muic and the robot is his computer/ music softwares.
