July 19, 2026. The day after finishing my sermon at Nabewariyama, I climbed Mount Myogi for the first time in about a year. Last time, I turned back at Soma-dake, but this time I traversed Taka-modoshi and Nidan-runze. While there are many dangerous mountains like Futago-yama, Keikan-san, and Togakushi-yama, Mount Myogi truly stands out. This route can be walked without ropes, but it's extremely dangerous, so I recommend going with a guide or experienced climber.

The parking lot I used this time was Michi-no-Eki Myogi, located directly in front of Myogi Shrine. Parking is free. It can accommodate about 100 cars. There are also 24-hour restrooms. There are other free parking lots nearby, with a total capacity of about 200 cars.
