Well done Andy, itās a tough but really beautiful route, and you executed it so well. I was one of the 145 starters who didnāt make it to Eastbourne as I had my first ultra DNF at Botolphs. A tough decision but the right one for me at the time, it was certainly tough going in the heat but a wonderful day.

Wise words (and well done on a great time) - I also ran it this year, but slower than you. I think we spoke briefly as I remember your hand injury, glad it didn't stop you!
