A nation of BTCC fans were gutted for you Dan, we know how hard it must be to trump the big boys. The team and particularly you should be very proud of your efforts. Onwards and upwards, rooting for y'all.

Thank you so much for the support and all the nice comments guys!! ❤️ We’ll come back stronger!

Mate, so unlucky - you did everything right. Really felt for you and the team when the mechanical issue forced you out!
Big up to Rory Butcher for how humble in victory he was as well.

Deserved the win with all the work you and the team have done, but as you know, that is racing, upwards and onwards.

Everyone bar Speedworks were willing you to win. Such a cruel thing to happen but whether you win or lose, do it with dignity - and that's exactly what you did. Always a winner 🏆

Simply couldn't believe what I witnessed 2 corners down from where I was, ready with my camera to capture you taking the maiden win for the Cupra. My heart sank, and so did I, to the ground. It was simply a stunning drive up to that point. Wishing you all the best for the rest of the season, and a 2024 campaign, and I'm sure I'll be able to meet you in the paddock once again.

That was a brutal ending mate, especially after you’d been mugged of a solid lead by the safety car. Was an absolutely brilliant drive under pressure. Racing can be ridiculously cruel sometimes

You won that race in my eyes! Fantastic drive. Keep smiling. Positive vibes for Silverstone.

I was there bro listening, you will just click ,remember  Martin  deeper, he never clicked ❤

The fact if people stopped slamming them tyres the race would have been 14 laps instead of 15. Your the winner of that race Dan. Its coming for real 🙌

As devastating as it was, it's going to make the time you win feel much sweeter. You have proof beyond belief that you've got the pace in you, the car, and the team.

Thats a killer feeling when you think about what could of been ...that sinking feeling you get. The best you can take out of it is that you proved the pace of yourself and the car .

Absolutely gutted for you Dan, but you should hold your head high. You drove a perfect race and did yourself and the team proud. The most under-rated driver in the sport at the moment. Fingers crossed it all works out for next season, the grid would be a poorer place without you!

You had a superb drive all day, did yourself and the team proud, hope your sponsorship worries get resolved, it’s great having you on the grid

You so deserved that victory! I watched live and could not believe what happened. Good luck with the rest of the season and your funding. Keep your chin up. I will be hoping your turn comes as you are due good luck now.

Seriously gutted for you Dan, you drove a brilliant race

I have watched touring cars for years and years, you drove an absolute stormer of a race, I was on the edge of my sofa ! I thought the race win was in the bag. All credit to you when you got out of the car you didn't slam doors or take strop. I will be following you and the team from now on. Best of luck next time out. Coincidently, last week I ordered a Cupra Leon !!

Dan - this drive was something special - the Supra working well, but you were the star to outrun that competition.

You emerge from this experience head held high again at the top of the top level pile - a high-inertia platform on which to base your end of season push to bring next year to reality.

All the best Man!

Watching behind the scenes of a racing driver really shows they are just normal people.  I know it sounds stupid but I see them all as super heroes.  Wish I could have had that life.  When I told my dad I wanted to be a racing driver after seeing F1 in 1992 at silverstone as a kid, he just stopped me in my tracks and said "forget about it, put it out of your mind". He knew the crazy money needed in motorsport and I didn't have a clue!

What a drive..  you deserved that win.. absolutely gutting watching that.. chin up
