The resemblance of the atmosphere and the storm after dark with the Greensburg tornado is unreal. Fortunately the tornado missed Greensburg.
I swear nighttime wedges, like the 2007 Greensburg tornado, this tornado, the 2023 Rolling Fork tornado or the 2021 Western Kentucky tornado, are absolutely terrifying.
Plus if I was in this situation, with an apparent repeat of the infamous 2007 Greensburg tornado, I'd be absolutely terrified for the residents of Greensburg.

This was a wild night!

As  a German the only time I witnessed  a tornado from afar was on the 8th of June 2016 in Hamburg, rated as F1 to F2 - and luckily noone got hurt. That tornado happened to  cross the school my son went to, luckily  late enough so no one was hurt - in the entire city. Just a bunch of roof tiles blown down and around 60 alley trees felled. Given how scary THAT was, I cannot imagine how you feel every time you get really close to one, especially the larger ones.

I don't have the proof, concretely but I believe that tornadoes have paths like a highway, that they follow.  When I was a child, we had a tornado that made a path.  Twenty-five years later, there was a tornado that followed almost the same path and was more destructive.
