Just back from a showing of The underwater menace & The Faceless ones at Riverside studios & what better way to finish the day than a gentle watch of this wonderfully enchanting meanders through the past 😊
i remember many years ago walking past burnt oak station with my mum and she said to me see that man standing at the bus stop thats patrick troughton the actor ,as we walked past he smiled at me and my mum i waved, many years later i found out he lived up the road in mill hill ,patrick troughton is my number one doctor .
Thank you for another lovely look into your wonderful Troughton family history. I remember my first Patrick's Doctor Who story was The Abominable Snowmen in 1967. I was six and it is still my favourite story.
39:27 another fantastic episode, I am really enjoying your podcast and talking about your father is always lovely to watch. In my college course, I'm doing a media, and I have the role of the clappboard man in a college horror film 😃👍.
Thanks once again for another episode ( all that was missing was a cliffhanger 😄). I'm sure you've been asked this a thousand and one times Michael but was just wondering if the checked trousers you wore in Timebusters inspired by your fathers Dr Who costume. (If I missed it I'm sorry).
I'm about to watch this in the bath! 🫧 Don't worry, there are more bubbles than a Troughton base under siege in here! 🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🌕 Edit: Nobody is grabbing my buttered crumpets till I've got some clothes on! 😳
Without him making it his own and saying this is what The Doctor does we all wouldn't be here now talking about the show 60 yesrs later.
