You Forgot How INSANE This ’90s Movie Was… 🎳 | Kingpin (1996)
Remember when movies were actually allowed to be this ridiculous?
Before streaming, before TikTok, before every bowling alley became a birthday-party venue, there was Kingpin—the gloriously inappropriate 1996 comedy starring Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, and a scene-stealing Bill Murray.
Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) was once a bowling prodigy. Then life happened. Now he’s broke, bitter, missing a hand, and looking for one last shot at redemption. Enter Ishmael (Randy Quaid), an Amish bowling phenom with a devastatingly good hook and absolutely no idea what he’s gotten himself into.
What follows is a road trip filled with hustlers, bad decisions, questionable hairstyles, bowling alley glory, and the kind of unapologetically ’90s humor that would make today’s Hollywood lawyers reach for the phone.
If you grew up renting VHS tapes, watching late-night cable, eating microwave pizza, and discovering movies your parents definitely should have previewed first… this one is for you.
🎳 Kingpin wasn’t just a bowling movie. It was a time capsule. And honestly… we miss this version of Hollywood.
Did Kingpin age like a fine wine—or a bowling ball left in the trunk of a ’96 Buick? Let us know in the comments.

The comedian said he has some bald spots on his lawn.
Hes tried everything to make the grass fill in the spots but no luck.
So, he decides to grow the grass next to the spot real long and he's gonna rake it over.

When the movie came out, we didn't have that. We had Siskel and Ebert, and they LOVED it. Siskel looked into the camera and personally thanked the filmmakers for making him laugh so much. He put it in his Top 10 list for 1996!
