Like you, I’m used to riding larger displacement bikes. Bought the 23 230s ABs to ride in the Pines and DAMN is it a blast. The only way to kill that engine is to put a bullet in it.

Oh crap, you rode it over an hour!! That's a huge improvement over '22!!

I think this and the DF trim are going to be such a good value from Kawasaki.

I have a 2023 klx230s. Basically the same bike. This has a couple of add ons. Hand guards, tubeless rear wheel etc..
Mine is gray and I absolutely love it. I just use it for puttering around the woods. I’m an older guy and I was looking for a small dual sport and went through pretty much every one I could find and this is the one I decided to keep.
It’s a great little bike and is more than enough, especially in the woods. I’m pretty sure I’m still going to get one of these also. The tubeless rear wheel is reason enough for me. Then I’ll have two for when my son comes home or a friend or one of my brothers. At least that’s how I’ll justify it it in my tiny little brain. lol just get one, you won’t regret it !

The seat height of the CRF300 is 830mm compared to the Sherpa at 845mm, the ground clearance of the Honda is 244mm again compared with 240mm on the Sherpa

What a tempting bike! I'm getting my license soon and want a dual sport without all the power and this seems ideal. Honda looks to heavy.

Question for the group. Is the 2026 Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa S better than the xt250?

Kawasaki says they drastically improved comfort in seat foam, starting in '24, thoughts on Seat this year????

The lines looping up front are long for the extra travel in the front suspension for off-road capable bikes .

I have been eyeing this bike and it seems like a lot of fun. Would you recommend for a female rider at 5'6 feet? I love the color and look of it. I just have concerns if it is comfortable on pavement and dirt. Is it worth the price?
