Some dealer paid you well for some of this goofy/nice shit you said here. Shill!

I just bought the 2026 KLX 230 DF, love it!

This bike punches above the specs, is it the fastest no, but man it's fun and capable and low ride height is so confidence inspiring.  We bought this sherpa for my wife and it has been a blast, we've owned tons of bikes including way more expensive adv bikes, and dual sports and this thing has just surprised me how much we enjoy it.  And it looks great especially the bone white color.  Sure it has limitations but is great for the majority of riders who want EASY affordable adventure and trekking fun.  This may be the best money we have spent on a bike tbh.  We modified a skid plate for it which takes away ground clearance worries but good line selection in most cases and there's nothing to worry bout.

I bought a 2023 marked down brand new 3,800 still have it runs perfect I added a device on mine to carry my fishing pole & gear down to Merritt island wildlife refuge this is where the shuttle was launched years back you can get lost on the back roads all day I carry water snacks I'll pull up under a shade tree on the edge of the water & just enjoy the peace& quite it's the best therapy I'll go home so relaxed

Street 230 engines also get a counterbalancer that makes them surprisingly smooth up to 60mph

I purchased the regular 2026 KLX230s a couple weeks ago from my local dealer. Out-the-door was $5,500. Been riding trails bikes all my life and even owned a 500cc KTM dual sport. The 230 is plenty powerful for the roads and trails here in New England. This bike is the perfect balance between power, ergonomics, and economic value. I’m 5’11 and weigh 185. I’m not the biggest guy but I’m big enough so to me the extra couple inches you get from the non-Sherpa version is well worth it, not to mention it’s cheaper. Great bike, highly recommend. Safe riding 🤙🏻

🇦🇺😎👍That bike is something I would have bought when I was 16.  My first register motorbikes were first a new Yamaha DT 175 G 1980 & 1980 Kawasaki KL 250 .

For me with vertical issues, the Sherpa is a good fit for me, i have a deposit on one and the funds but need time off to go get it. Yes it is a bit pricey, but my options of bikes are thin.

2025 was the last model year for the Yamaha XT250. It was discontinued.

I feel like this bike is trying to compete with the TW200. I like the Sherpa but I'd still go for the TW.

I have a 2022 model (full size so more ground clearance) and I love it but bought it used with 500 miles on it so under 5k total. I would not pay the new price they are asking for this. Love the bike but for the money, its over priced for a simple (although rock solid) bike. I do really like the tubeless back wheel on this particular version. I put a Seat Concepts seat on mine and it made a huge difference.

All I can say is dont let it fall over. Even in the grass, the hand guards are weak, and the handle bar is too.

How do I get one imported into the UK?

I like this little bike & I think Kawasaki is making a move here to the smaller bikes like the rest of the world has been using for decades now
but here the price of everything is finally starting to force the downsizing of machines?  This appears to be a sorta high end of the smaller
displacement bikes but Kaw being a conglomerate might have bought huge quantities of parts for other nations & now need a way to
sell off some of their "overstock" of components?  Whatever their true intent might be,  it's a marketing challenge when you have 3-4
different models of a small motored bike like this.  This particular bike has some extras that are appealing but I digress.  I like this
one but the one thing I do not like is bikes w/ brains..... lol,  this limits my choices but the less electronics & sensors the more I like
it.  Anytime a bike can be accessed by a smart device from a back door you are wide open to all sorts of BS.  This is happening w/
all things that are, "smart devices" but for vehicles like bikes that are easy to steal & disappear  you do not want a hacker to be
able to get control over the "brains" of the vehicle..... lots of bikes are now stolen b/c of this.  I do like the bike though !
Sad I can only watch you review her..... peace man

Charlie, can you daily ride the wr125

As soon as you said, $6700, I checked out. Nuff said.
