I would not put that loss on the kryptonian’s. Brainiac is very powerful and I doubt any of the other races would’ve stopped him.

well this is certainly an... INTERESTING take on "most powerful" races in the DC universe! Your reasons and arguments are thoughtful and well-considered, and you cite examples, which I like. My gut strongly disagrees with the ENTIRETY of this list -- but I do like to hear a reasoned argument. And I do think you should have simply made it (yet another) "Top 10" list and included The Dominators, The Khunds, The Coluans, (possibly The Daxamites), and the New Gods -- who should definitely be #1.

I didn’t think anything about the inclusion of technology with the way it was sprinkled in, but now, I see what was happening. Amazo is something I still don’t think I fully understand how it works. With Cell, from Dragon Ball, it’s a being created from the genetic materials of powerful beings, but I’ve only ever seen Amazo analyze its opponents in order to copy them perfectly, unless I missed them saying or showing otherwise in any of the animated things I’ve seen.

I’m a few years behind on following DC comics lore, so maybe there have been some changes. I don’t recall the gods of Earth being universal representatives who just happened to live here. You point out how the Thanagarians have their own god. Likewise, the Rock of Eternity used by our Marvel family is an Earth-thing, and the Speed Force probably empowers speedsters on other worlds. We don’t see the stories of these other characters cause we want to focus on our own backyard, not because Earth is THAT important.
