You know Kent worries he's losing when he starts accusing the other guy of heresy.

In Toronto, I saw a pretty neat debate/discussion with Denis, Stephen Meyer and Lawrence Krauss. It was a really satisfying conversation.

@49:00 thank you Denise for mentioning the RMT. I wrote a whole book on them, and how antievolutionist screw up on them, and brought them up to Kent in my debate with him last year. We await Kent's monograph on them, but given how he sprinted past them again, don't hold your breath.

Was hoping we'd get a bit more time spent on the Kent & Mark bromance.

Should make Kent pay $5.00 each time he brings up his DVDS

'Mute' button, Jamie, can you use it?!

@jamesdownard1510 6 years ago

@57:00 Kent as usual does his dance, mosquitos & mammals would have a metazoan common ancestor long after the "Origins or Bust" amoeba mantra. We can also ask if Kent has even tried to research that common ancestry data (and I mean something beyond copying squibs from Walt Brown).

So Denis, at 58:25 what day was the big bang? 1-7? Were the different times of creation ever anything? It all happened at day 1?

This debate proves that knowing Hebrew and Greek is essential for anybody interested in understanding what the Bible really says -atheist or believer. Many of Hovind's wrong ideas come from his ignorance of the historical context of the scriptures, specially the languages used in them. This surprises me, because I thought his rejection of evolution was due to an obsession with the Bible, but this debate shows that he doesn't takes the bible seriously enough to properly study it.
