What characters or factions from Krat do you want to learn more about?

I think we can all agree that Overture's Story was absolutely emotional and peak.

I have watched several lore videos for Lies of P in the recent weeks after the DLC dropped. This is the first lore video that covered many, if not all of the topics I have been hoping to see in other Lies of P lore/story breakdowns. The ancient history of Krat, The mysterious and totally alien "Angel" and consequences of it's arrival via a human wish(es), the different factions and their motivations, the amazing characters in this story, Ergo, the Overture DLC, etc, etc. This was a wonderfully thought out video summary of an amazing game's story and lore. I cannot wait for devs to drop the sequel and expand on this brilliantly crafted game world that has earned it's place beside the ever growing library of amazing games with incredible worlds, characters, and stories. Time to feed the algorithm with a like and comment! Cheers!

Finally! Someone covered the overture lore

I love how the parrying system is basically a rhythm that you have to memorize, it's very pleasant to hear that clang every time also

When i first played P, i all but ignored the story, assuming it would be background like the Souls series. When i paid attention, i realized it has one of the most touching and complex stories in gaming history. What a beautiful ride and, especially with the DLC's tale added to it, one of the most emotionally hard hitting outside of greats like Final Fantasy X and Minerva's Den.

So as to how time works in Krat, it’s mentioned a couple times that Sophia keeps turning back the clock to save P, so it could be presumed that the events of the base game aren’t even the first time those events occurred, Mad Donkey even makes some claims about how facing P is like a dream where he keep coming back for more, I used to think it’s because we keep reviving again and again, but now, I think it’s because he’s literally been reliving that instance again and again because of previous attempts to stop what’s happening. Then again I could be wrong, I haven’t played through the game more than once so I’m just using my speculation tools.

Arlechinno does not use puppet ripper. He uses a sickle weapon it works similar but its not the same. And Romeos weapon can be found in savana center in zoo broken propably by arlechinno when he captured Romeo

I wanted a drink, you gave me an ocean. Beautifully explained. Extremely insightful. Thank you good sir.

Lea the Legendary Baddie

I just finished the DLC and finally got the bad ending and with it the plat trophy... what a masterpiece but I didn't know how amazing the lore of this game is, so many things that I missed, however thanks to you video I can finally understand the Lies of P.

That would be interesting to know more about the relationship between Sophia and Lea, because in the world of Lies of P, Sophia Monad and Lea Florence Monad are siblings, both daughters of the alchemist Valentinus Monad (and Isabelle). Sophia is a central figure in the main game, while Lea appears in the Overture DLC as the “Legendary Stalker”

The fandom consensus confirms this relationship:

“Lea Florence Monad, the adopted daughter of Valentinus Monad, whose other daughter is our dear Sophia Monad… Regardless of not being blood‑related, Sophia and Lea were sisters.”

However, the game’s lore and the main wiki portray both as biological daughters of Valentinus and Isabelle, making them full sisters in the in-game universe . Maybe desmityfing or some relation to that, not mention before. PS: Excelent vídeo By the way, amazing :) thank you!!!!!!! <3

Wow I adore this video ❤️ not only the analysis of the characters and story, but also the references 😳 really great watch!

My third reason for why Geppetto possibly killed her was because he resented her. Think about it. Your son who you left in a boarding school decides to throw education out the window and joins a mercenary. Who would then become a better parental figure than you and your late wife. This would also lead Carlo to get spotted by the Alchemist’s radar and have them wary. Resulting in him getting killed because he could become a major threat. It makes sense why he did this on an emotional level. Jealousy is truly disgusting especially when it came from his lack of effort.

You did an obscene amount of research for this. Well done, I’m very curious as to your writing process.

this was an absolute banger. thanks.

There was always two questions I had regarding the story of Lies of P. What exactly where they doing to Sophia? I don't think anything really hints on why she ended up as the mangled mess or what the alchemists were doing with her.

I also never quite understood why Gepetto needed the Arm of God for his plan.  He seems to revive Carlo in the bad ending by simply playing the P-Organ inside, we never even see the arm in use in this process and Carlo climbs out of the box shortly after the P-Organ is placed inside. So what purpose did the arm serve to him?

Ive completed the main game recently and I can't recommend it enough! its an awesome game

The Blood Artist is one of the best written villains I have seen in Gaming in a while now

Honestly fromsoft could learn a thing or two from neowhiz with their story telling. Lies of P just has it all
