13:50 it’s not entirely hybe but BIGHIT since they’re the ones directly managing them. I appreciate BH for giving their groups creative freedom like BTS and Cortis.

I love JOYRIDE so much 😩😩 my favorite song from the album

Gen-alpha starts with those born in 2010.  Seonghyeon and Keonho are part of the tail end of Gen-Z (born in 2009).

(Oh, I see very quickly the live chats provided info already... hahaha... I'm late to the comment section...)
50:54.  James's ice hockey.  James is actually Thailand (mom) /Taiwanese (dad).  He grew up in Taiwan (not Thailand, not China) with his parents, so he played ice hockey in Taiwan (I know, ice hockey in hot regions... haha... sounds weird, haha...), and also spent time in Hong Kong for training, ice hockey + one of the martial arts, forgot, Taekwando?  Started learning dance in the teens, I recall, in Taiwan.  From some of their vlogs, I can feel his sportsmanship mentality coming thru, like when encouraging members on things, very big brother/captain like, consoling and encouraging them to push thru.  He was also in a team sport, so I think understanding how to work in a team really shines thru for him, especially when he's the hyung to the rest.  Swimming is maybe more solitary?  But still a good trait, having learned they need endurance and persistence to do well and follow thru.

Cortis , it’s quite unique in a way it sounds like a family name. When they introduce themselves individually like for example James, he says James Cortis or Cortis, James and not James of Cortis.

Juhoon went to an international school. He used to join a debate contest in English. It's clear that he's kinda more fluent in English rather than Korean

I’m a CORTIS , ENHYPEN fan from Japan.
Thank you for mentioning CORTIS so often recently.
I’ve subscribed to your channel.

I'm actually quite liking the rendition of what you want as we hearing it in the documentary? Definitely more my taste. I think it's the hard hitting bass that's doing it for me.

joyride's my fave too. betw the mv and the song, total 2000s teenage nostalgia

im so into cortis and enhypen songs these days

actually for Keonho and Sunghyun, when you see the whole interview, they were super nervous. The way they spoke was honestly adorable because they were really nervous, but they still sang amazing

Cortis to the world

There's so much going on in this MV. Read the manual pages and notice how they align with the video... pretty deep. It explains so much of the symbolism that appears throughout their other MVs.

About GALA, Chisa`s vocal part - it is 90% of Lady Gaga, it`s nothing to do with "gaming stuff" or "old kpop". And Chisa is the biggest Gaga fan, so they gave that line for her. The lyrics in this song are incredible, almost everything has a double meaning and is deeply tied to the band and who they are. The music video is not just beautiful sparky visuals, it contains a lot of references and cultural code, just like the song itself. Only them can made fasion music sound so good.

13:40.  HYBE's willingness to let them be creative.  Yes.  Like Le Sserafim Yunjin, she has song writing skills and I assume enjoys releasing her own stufd, which they gave her that freedom even just a year into group activities.  Typically the big3 wouldn't, only when the group exists for many years, THEN they leet them do solo or side-stuff and explore other creativity realms.  Like Sakura is so good with variety shows, so I really enjoyed her Fearless Kura back then.  Anyways, at least that's what I felt thru Le Sserafim.

Like EJAE of Kpop Demon Hunters, she's reportedly been with SM for... almost a decade?  Yes, she wrote songs for other groups and all while couldn't debut.  Granted, I don't know what went on behind the scenes, but knowing that she's been there for so long and seemingly endured a lot of disappointments...  Not sure, just feel that idol trainees that have more creative skills, tend to have to ditch that behind, bc contents and concepts and music and everything is only based on company concepts.  So after all the EJAE interviews, I just felt, wow, SM is not a good fit for you, they didn't have the chance to let you shine in her own way.  I almost felt it's probably better she didn't debut... you don't have much creative freedom as a SM idol...

Ah, like Rose, also.  She didn't get the chance to release much of her own stuff until their original 7 years contract was over, and even solos within YG was really slow and few.

Anyways, I was just impressed that Le Sserafim Yunjin got to release her own stuff so early in the group's career, with the support and encouragement from the company, even.

OK.  Getting off my soap box.  😅

I Love this Song so much ❤❤joyride

Martin is korean, I mean, one of his parents is Canadian, but his korean is good because he's korean.

The seonghyeon and keonho joyride live performance is from mnet, i suprised you didnt went to jail

Molly Sutherland keeps attacking them in the comments as if they're trying to be BTS. Bruh. BTS is BTS. when will this person learn. the livestream was great but they kept attacking Cortis every time. Like, dont you have anything else to do but spread hate (and acting as if you don't already).

Happy to see her comments get deleted though. this isnt the first time they did it. Such a problematic person.

edit. just got to the part of the interview. yeah, Juhoon is such a yapper when speaking in english

Me for sure! Joyride is my total fav
