People who are butthurt trying to speak on Cortis “stealing” from black culture are bitter and a majority of them havent even been black speaking on it. Cortis are constantly giving appreciation to black people and the genres our culture has created, appreciation for black art is the bare minimum but rare in the kpop scene. And black people in the industry are loving Cortis for that very reason, the producer of Don Toliver’s ‘Body’ and ‘E85’ recently expressed interest in producing for them during the hate train towards Cortis on twt. Cortis will always get the last laugh🤷🏾‍♀️
EDIT!! : ofc i cant speak on how all black people feel but one thing that cortis is not doing is appropriating.

Let me just tell you, you are the ONLY ONE who recognised 24kGolden, Cochise, BNYX and 4Batz off the BAT(I see what I just did there lol). I watched ALL THE REACTIONS to this documentary and you are the only one. YOU KNOW BALL DUDE.
Everyone who accused and still are accusing them of "copying" from the black culture honestly don't know the amount of mentoring and guidance these kids are receving from black artists themselves. It's narrow minded of them and clearly shows how much they know OF MUSIC.
SO yes, I really reallly am so glad that you GOT IT!!
You earned a subscriber man!! (I AM VERY PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO THIS)

42:51 that's the moment when Martin wrote the Outside's lyrics for Enhypen

All their original mvs that they recorded themselves before they were recreated professionally are on their cortis channel

One thing I really appreciate bighit for is how much they brought boys to original source, how much opportunities they gave them to truly learn what they are doing and get good inspirations even before this they were always sending them in LA for their dancing and vocal lessons, they don’t play about training those kids

The documentary was so peak, usually I don't stan groups but after watching it I was tweaking tf out, this group is honestly so goated I think all of the haters who say they copy or steal from black artists or call them talentless should watch this, they're so very talented for their young age.

10:23 I think this is why people should trust Bighit Team 3 in the development of Cortis. They know that the boys are heavily inspired my modern hip hop so they tap in and work with the people who work in the music industry in the US.

Yess finally! Cortis is really a creator group at its core.

I have watched so many reactions to this doc and I'm so happy you're actually recognising the people they're collabing with

They work 300 songs in this   song camp but only 5 song just pick and draft, have many more songs coming up like ball in the league, shawty going up up,  please realease the 295 more song left😩

Yess finally thank u so much. In 2 months we gonna get their second album. I'm so excited for this boys. Bcs when people say they just do what everyone does and I personally can not agree bcs the love and the passion they have for music is genuine and it stands out for me. I know they gonna have a bright future.

Just watching them be so young but hitting the ground running for their dreams is so motivating, I love their documentary

i really hope they will publish another documentary for the upcoming second album in April

Bout damn time Seb😭

1:42:02 When martin said that back in his trainee days before he even knew if he would debut. he brought together his friends who were the same age as him to form a crew.(which is he’s members rn) to film a music together. This documentary show it to us they shared the same passion. the same dreams. and TRULY lived for music. in the end, he said that this was how cortis came to be. it wasn't planned or staff told them to do, It was built by love or love for what they do. That’s why i can connect to their music so easily 🥹 i see their uniqueness, authenticity, pure talent and passion. Yeah that’s them CORTIS! thats why we COER’S love them sm🫶😩

fyi, one of those beats made by Martin that time was created into Enhypen song called “Outside”

I was just checking them out because they are BTS juniors, and the music is good too. But the WYW documentary sealed it for me. Like, that's it; I am going to stan this amazing group of teenagers.

so good isnt it? the melody they made with the other producer by themselves at 46:25 without their mentors, GOD these boys really are on another level. I literally see sebastine getting completely shocked and stoked with what he is hearing.

it's a perfect time to watch "time to debut" and following that "D-100" which links after these documentary episodes, documenting the day they finally debuted. love the reaction💝

YEA MY SHOWS ONNN
