Echidona🥴

It's impressive that Subaru can inspire both hope and even fear into those who could literally one shot him, I call that a power move.

Yup, According to the author Tappei Nagatsuki,

Subaru is an Unreliable Narrator.

Shaula didn’t say Subaru doesn’t look like flugel exactly. Actually in her novel lore she actually can’t properly see faces and only recognizes people by scent. So it’s unknown if they look similar. However shaula is the only other character in the entire verse with Subarus black and yellow color scheme.

Also pleadies translates to Subaru. Flugel created the watchtower. The literal translation of pleadies watchtower is “Subarus watchtower”. Taking into account Shaula is waiting for him wearing his color scheme and it’s really strange.

I think he saw the wall as a door because gamer brain. The basement level is designed like a video game dungeon. It's also comparable to many mythical dungeons.
Subaru like most people from our world would conclude it's a door.

That's scene in the light novel made Subaru look really scary to me ngl

As an anime only I was most intrigued about the "WHITE BIRD"......

Because if you paid attention the bar owner told that the bird started appearing a year ago just at the time when subaru was summoned,

And when I  again watched season 1 , the freaking white birds were present 💀💀,

The birds were also present in crucial moments in season 1,2,3 like somebody is watching over subaru actions 💀💀

Just to note: Shaula isn't saying that Subaru DOESN"T look like Flugel. We've seen glimpses of what Flugel looks like and well.... yeah, he looks just like Subaru from as much as we've seen.
What she's saying is that she never recognized people by their faces to begin with. She can just barely tell the differences between Male and Female, height, and voice, but she can't really distinguish people otherwise. It's similar to how a foreigner might not be able to immediately tell the differences between the faces of a native ethnicity they've never seen before.
This is also foreshadowing for her, but more on that later.

5:38 we know because of the grocery bag and his charged cell phone

You are an amazing guy, Natsuki Subaru

One of the lore bits I'm low-key obsessed about is that while explaining how magic and authorities work during a panel, Tappei mentioned there was no mana on Earth, so he was asked how come Earth humans have Mana Gates then, and he answered they don't.

It was pointed out to me that the moment Subaru appears in the fantasy world, e we hear the Return By Death sound. As well, nobody seems to react to a man suddenly appearing out of nowhere in the middle of the street. Perhaps that is because he didn’t suddenly appear, but had walked to that spot quite naturally, and that was his new reset point.

We have seen that, if he loses his memories, it seems to him that he had just isekai’d from the convenience store to the first Retun-By-Death he now remembers.

What if he was summoned some time ago, but has a memory wipe event that made him think appearing in the middle of that street was his arrival point, just as current Subaru believed he isekai’d straight to the green room and meet the girls there for the first time in that moment.

I've seen a lot of people say that the scene where Subaru gets summoned/TP'd is an anime-only thing, but isn't it implied canon in the novels too? Both in Arc 1 and Arc 6, leaving the convenience store is explicitly his last memory. If anything, it makes more sense to discuss why he was summoned to current Lugunica instead of 400 years ago during the Flugel/Echidna era. Regardless of the checkpoint or timeline he dropped into, it doesn't change the fact that he was summoned right after leaving the store.

the summoning scene being anime only i think is just tappei being the troll he is, he loves to spread lore bits everywhere Emilia and Subaru's date scene was literally only on a casino machine somewhere in japan which like only 2% people ever saw

Remember when we hear the Witch's call? That's right—when Subaru uses Return by Death. We see him outside the Konbini, and poof, he's suddenly in the middle of the Lugunica city square as if he'd been standing there the whole time, not like he just spawned out of thin air.
Everyone overlooks that opening scene of episode 1, taking it as standard production team foreshadowing. I think otherwise: they used that episode to show a true chronicle of events. Something happened before the story even started, and something definitely happened between him standing outside the Konbini and arriving at Lugunica's center square.

It’s disappointing how they adapted the balcony scene in the anime because the main point was to establish Subaru’s accomplishments and how everyone sees him immediately before taking away his memories. The anime glossed over that part of the scene.

8:34 Since you are digging about things at the start of the series, you missed the most suspicious piece of evidence, Emilia introduced herself as Satella the first time Subaru met her. and when he died he used his ability for the first time with the goal to save 'Satella'. I am sure you can use the additional info from later arcs to understand what that implies.

I may not know much about what is going on in re zero but what I do know is that Subaru is an amazing guy so he will save all of them and that is all I need to know.

I saw a video that raised an interesting question… We don’t question enough about how Subaru was transported.

We see scenes of him barely remembering something.

We see the hand of Satella like when Subaru violates the Taboo.

We hear the RbD sound.

The he’s suddenly there in the middle of a crowd. No one acts like a random man spawned into existence. It was like he was already there.

Did Subaru RbD in the start of Ep 1? How did he isekai? Does he have loops we don’t know about?

Edit: I should have listened to the rest of the video 😂

Finally, someone said it. Maybe I'm being silly, but since the first season, Subaru has shown characteristics that are impossible for a human: Rem slammed him into a wall and he didn't care, he was able to throw Ram a dozen meters away and create a crater in the wall using the halfling's body (I forgot his name). This is usually attributed to him using the flow method and enhancing his body with mana, but then the question arises: where did he get the mana from? Why would a person who lived in a world without magic have a specialized organ for collecting and using mana? The only other person from our world that we know of is Flugel, and as far as we can tell, he was completely useless in combat and did not possess magic, as he should not. In my opinion, the fact that Subaru has an "Od" is the clearest evidence that he originates from world of Re:zero and not ours
