I owe an apology to all of the people who were saying the end is nigh because... Jesus fucking Christ GW.

Music needs to go or volume reduced significantly!

They literally removed the shagrat everyone uses lol.

Great music but can you remove the chatting in the background?

Gildor, who is prominent in an entire CHAPTER, is gone, but crap like Rutabi and Brogir get to stay

I can't hear the music, can you turn it up a tad for the next video?

Top quality content lads, thank you I do x

the music is a tad to loud.

Assuming the license deal was a key factor here, I wonder if the difference between which GW creations were culled and which werent was down to New Line knowing they existed?

Does anyone at Warner Bros know what a Gulavar is?

Trivia about Figwit/Lindir: "Figwit" stands for "Frodo is great...WHO IS THAT?" LotR fan Iris Hadad invented the name (and started a fan movement) because she was smitten when she saw Brett McKenzie on screen, just after Frodo declared he would take the Ring to Mordor. McKenzie's character showed up again in RotK ("My Lady Arwen, we cannot delay"), but it was not until An Unexpected Journey that Jackson gave him a proper name, Lindir.

Holy music lads

somones left age of empires on in background

You have to wonder why they are clearing out/removing all these models. Is there really that much hype around War of the Ring that's going to make up for getting rid of all of these units? As someone who is starting to get into the hobby, this is upsetting.

It almost feels like one of those dumb decisions that some higher manager has decided without thinking it through. Like they just got hired, had to shake things up and everyone was forced to try to rationalise it. Licensing issues doesn’t fit with the inconsistencies.

Little hard to hear over the music, but agreed it feels very much like part of license stuff, which there isn't much GW can do about that without losing the license. Edit: It is also possible that stuff like Dark Denizens will still be possible, just may nominate normal spiders to become "captains?" We know what is going to Legends, we don't know what is being changed about what is sticking around. Given there is a whole bit of the book/movie with the dwarves fighting spiders, I'd be surprised if a spider army isn't still possible.

As someone who spent way to many hours converting a mounted Gil Galed i am utterly heartbroken by this announcement

Age of Mythology music is great, but yeah, it's a bit loud

I think some of the cuts will be based around what "Legendary Legion" lists there are - e.g. Goroth and Zagdush were in Gothmog's army, but can't be in the LOTR army book because they weren't in the film. And they probably don't fit into any of the Armies of Middle Earth lists, so they got cut.

Now we need a Noobs tier list with all the profiles going to legacy.

men at arms hurt me the most. I do not have a lot of painting time and 20 very nicely painted men at arms (perry foot knights with twohanded spears) were the integral part of my fiefdoms army. One of the few painted things. Also I had high hopes for khazad dum. RIP.
