Escargoon SHOULD be in Kirby Air Riders

As a side note, the "NPC" characters revealed so far (apart from Starman) do have a common link: Kawasaki, Knuckle Joe, and to an extent Waddle Doo and Cappy are all reoccurring characters of the anime. It might be a coincidence, but I think it's worth mentioning that the character choices aren't as random as they might seem.

You were right about the announcer

@ianmurphy3840 11 months ago

This guy cooks.

I can see Escargoon's rival of being Bandana Dee for replacing him. Plus be more happy to see a less hostile King Dedede.

The goofy Google Slides presentation just makes it better.

Escargoon is probably one of my most wanted characters for Air Riders alongside Adeleine and Ribbon, Daroach, and Marx.

@pizzahutkidman8806 11 months ago

Bandanna Dee is funny because yeah he did techinally appear in Super Star but he was just an NPC for a minigame while Ultra and beyond actually made him a character. Sakurai character adopted by Kumazaki lmao

@NerdPac2869 11 months ago

Escargoon is high on my list of characters that I want in this game along with Marx and Elfilin, he is the perfect glup shitto pick and is such a notable and fun characters in the anime.

And plus, it would be nice for a character from one of Nintendo's non-game related media appear in the games, same said for Mario Kart World and other other Mario spinoffs too. Like if Nine from the totally beloved and not at all divisive Sonic Prime Netflix series can get into Crossworlds then why not let the iconic Indiana Joe from Super Show play some tennis?
