From my understanding, the primary storytelling philosophy of Kirby is somewhere between "you know what would be hilarious?" and "you know what would be BADASS?" which frankly rules bigtime

In Triple Deluxe, Sectonia's forces kidnapped Dedede instead of Kirby as they assumed from observing that he was the true hero of the lower lands. Dedede has since across multiple games grown into that very role. I figured this was the reason Zorah became Noir Dedede. It had good intentions, so it wanted to reflect that. Dedede also tried to fight anyone who came too close to the Fountain of Dreams in Kirby's Adventure and Nightmare in Dreamland in order to save the world, so the whole misunderstood enemy thing also works there.

I love the reoccurring theme of Kirby games where some universe ending threat is brewing in the background and there’s one piece missing and then Kirby rolls up completely unaware of ANYTHING going on and also just so happens to have all the necessary components already to be the catalyst. And what’s even better is that Kirby without any context to what is happening, and just starts throwing hands.

The fact that Zorah is alive makes that scene of the worker drones tearing him apart and rebuilding him into a monstrosity the most insane way that body horror will ever sneak its way into something made for children😭

Not gonna lie the worker drones scene was genuinely kinda horrific (I think it's the fact that Zorah SCREAMS IN PAIN)

Kirby: "I wish for the sun and the moon to stop fighting"
Nova: "I gotchu fam. If I try to destroy Popstar, they will resolve their differences and work together to stop me."

Marx: "I wish to rule over Popstar."
Nova: "I gotchu fam. I'll eradicate all life on the planet, and you will rule over its remains unopposed."

Metaknight: "I wish to fight the strongest warrior."
Nova: "I gotchu fam. I know a guy who was strong enough to destroy planets. Once he kills you, he can destroy Popstar."

Zorah: "I wish to be able to move."
Nova: "I gotchu fam. I'll turn you into a metal gear so once you move, you will destroy Popstar."

Bro out here wondering how he can make everyone's wishes about him.

Zorah: "I wish I was able to move."

Nova: "Granted. Now you're a doomsday weapon that eats cars."

Zorah: "...what?"

The contrast between the cute Kirby gameplay and the messed up Nier Automata-Metal Gear like combo plot going on is wild.

"Galactic Nova's wish granting work was not done..."

"Why not, I think he should stop!"

I love how Zorah's wish was "I want to be able to move", so Galactic Nova built Air Ride machines for NO REASON, then decided to absolutely violate Zorah and turn it into a weapon of mass destruction that STILL couldn't move on its own.
That isn't even a Monkey's Paw, nothing Nova did was related to Zorah's wish. Nova was just being a dick.

This definitely feels like an older Alpharad video, it’s a nice change of pace.

Usually, I’m against committing war crimes, but after this story mode, I think it was completely justified for Kirby The Almighty Rick to destroy Nova…
