Rent is high, homes are unaffordable, daycare and food cost are insane. Last thing on people’s mind is kids.

A lot of people that have children absolutely shouldn't have had them. Having children does NOT make you a grown up or mature. Responsible, discerning, loving people think things through BEFORE they usher a soul into this world.

I'm almost 60 years old and never wanted kids. I have never regretted my decision. I did not have a great childhood and I never wanted to make a child feel the way I did. I didn't think I had the skills to raise a child well. I'm very happy I did not torture a child just to make society happy. People that love children and have the time and patience and skills to raise them well should have them.

I worked in a nursing home for 4 years, rare occasion to see kids visiting their parents. The people that visit the most are spouses, people from church and friends.

Children are a huge responsibility and it cost a lot of money to raise one child. Also, you can't just have children with anyone..

At some point, I wanted kids, but since I never had the chance to have them, not only do I no longer want children now that I am older, but I also never want to get married. For me, once it didn't happen, I just stopped wanting it. Like everything in life, not everyone is meant for certain things. One of the biggest tragedies in life for me is that children are born to people who shouldn’t have them.
