"I don't think there is a single other character that has dialogue options that are as condescending and asshole-like as Ghorst" he says as Imrik is literally right next to him.

This isn’t a doomstack, this is a dumbstack and I fucking love it.

Please note: Never, ever, try the mega zombie blob against Ikit Claw. It will end in a green mushroom cloud.

Note: This is AFTER Ghorst was nerfed for being way, WAY too OP. He used to be so much stronger.

Can confirm, in the tabletop lore, Ghorst is pretty much nobody. His brothers died from a plague, he survived, and Mannfred decided to teach him spooky magic.
That's more or less it.
That Ghorst ended up surpassing that conniving cueball of a man is immensely satisfying.

Behind this corpse cart there is more than just zombies. Behind this corpse cart there is an meme... and memes are bulletproof.

This is some Settra fifteen-chariots-to-the-face shit.

Literally any opponent Ghorst may face: Tactics, strategy, an army that is finely tuned and optimized, highly trained soldiers that have spent years of their lives training, sometimes decades, leading up to this fateful day where they may not come back home.
Ghorst: That's nice and all, but have you heard of our lord and savior "thirty thousand zombies to the face"?

I can't quite say why, but I think Helman Ghorst is good

turns out you get pre-patch TF2 skeletons when you merge thousands of zombies in this game

Skaven: "We have you surrounded!"
Ghorst: "Good, now I don't need to aim."

This Anti Kleaper guy seems dope, he should collab with Grim Kleaper

26:18 It's also worth noting that when you cast, your regeneration allows your troops to return from the dead. So some of those kills were probably your actual army zombies that just came back up and started fighting again, Necron style.

His start used to be stronger. He had a mortis engine which is an ethereal unit (has 70% physical damage resistance and causes fear which is an aoe morale debuff for all enemy units) that healed all friendly units in a 35m radius, and also did damage to all enemy units in a 35m radius so long as it was in combat. Because it was in helman Ghorsts faction, it also had a single free use spell that could summon more zombies temporarily.

4:40 When you beat a garrison without killing everything, the game just...splits the kills between your units for some reason. And since pre-Wind of Death Ghorst wins battles by almost killing every individual troop...there were a lot of kills to split.

This is the type of trash I love.

The thing about Ghorst's Zombies is that he doesn't just buff them in his own army. He buffs them factionwide*. Yes, Zombies in his own army are going to be stronger, but you can still pull off the terrifying hordes and easily wipe 2-3 armies with just one group of smelly bois with *any leader.

One of the hardest battles I had to play in my IE Chorf campaign was against Ghorst. It's amazing how nail biting it was to almost lose to an army of mostly zombies despite firing absurd amounts of chaos dwarf artillery and guns into them. They just don't die.

Zerg rush is life. Zerg rush is love. There is no god. Only Zerg rush.

The default battle healing cap is 60% of a unit's total hp, not 100%.  A zombie can't regen 12k hp until it gets more healing cap bonuses, it can regen 7.2k

A small note: because zombies tend to die in massive numbers, ghorst can get access to VC end game units by turn 10 or so. Just suicide two armies into the nearby skaven settlement and the number of dead from both sides will allow you to get terrorgeists really quickly. TG are phenomenal for lord sniping and raise dead never runs out completely. Sometimes you just need to wait a few turns to get those units again.
