The very first time I saw this movie I was ten years old I believe. Our town of five thousand people had a movie theater, fifty cents for kids & this was one of the best movies I ever watched there. Now I’m seeing it for the second time & I’m seventy years old. ❤
It is absolutely heartwarming to see this 1960 classic again. For many of us, the Robinson family treehouse was the ultimate childhood dream. Seeing James MacArthur and Dorothy McGuire reminds us that true adventure is about the love and resilience we share. This movie is a beautiful reminder to cherish the simple gifts of life. Thank you for sharing this nostalgic treasure.
For me as a child watching this movie, this was the perfect place to live! What kid wouldn't want to live on a tropical island paradise in a HUGE tree house.
There wasn’t a kid who saw this who didn’t absolutely love it when they saw it in the theatre. It still holds up today and is one of the greatest in the Disney catalog… poor Ernest… cockblocked by his own brother…
