Well Woody, I had a go at the segmenting but put in another band. As you can see from the photos I had contamination from the metal. (Fortress) but kind of happy with it, thanks for the idea.

What did you use to polish the the pen?

what a beautiful pen. I want to do one, but I have not have any machine or knowlege. how do you glue the metal part to the wood?.

a good looking pen ...what is a woodturner stick? that is a new term for me ,is it a wax stick ?
