I make all sorts of things in my shop including pens and have found that lollipop sticks are really useful for a whole variety of different applications including multi laminations.

I have loooong pondered the perfect cheap white ivory replacement, but randomly as I am looking for segmenting tips I find that my solution was right in the window the whole time! I've tried holly veneer, Tagua nuts but nothing is as easy as normal holly. That is an awesome idea! You are a beast! I haven't done the super complex segments like this in a long time, but this makes me want to do them again. Maybe I should just switch to CA glue instead of wood glue for my joints. I just am afraid that its not as strong since I make the joints super small.

How many teeth are on your bandsaw blade? I would imagine that the cut isn't nearly as clean as on the table saw?
