This retrospective analysis dives into Starfox Adventures, the Nintendo GameCube game (2002). I speak about the gameplay, development, story, the interesting factors that lead to its creation, and I present an argument as to why the game ended up how it did. This video essay is in-depth and heavily researched.

EDIT 1: It turns out that Tricky CAN attack enemies with his fire, I just never saw it happen in my gameplay. I wonder if it needed to be activated to happen, which I never thought or had a reason to do. Thank you @mz3player for the correction!
EDIT 2: Thank you to @RainingMetal for the following corrections!
There's disagreement among the community on whether Tricky's color affects how many Blue Grub Tubs he uses. This is stated in forums and on various Wikis, but I did not see a difference in my playthrough due to resources not needing to be managed in the first place. I'm inclined to believe it is a myth.
The voice acting cutting out in the first visit to Krazoa Palace appears to be a glitch. It has been observed elsewhere.
The dino language cheat changes the subtitles, not the voice acting (which makes way more sense in hindsight). Apparently, there are different versions of the manual that were released, some with the cipher and some without. Curious.
