Backflip is insane for pvp btw, literally, if someone is running backflip in pvp, they are a sweat. not the best for ki super, but everythign else? fair game, even some counters... AFTER they hit them. plus it can be used to dodge and punish evasives, since it is invincible as SOON as you hit the button.
Little known fact, Drain Field can have it's effectiveness increased to the point it absorbs your opponent depending on how loud and obnoxiously you shout "NOBODYCANBEATMEWHENI'MSUPERSEVENTEEN"
Phantom fist, afterimage, backflip, rise to action I mean yeah I would say there are some really good skills in that category dust attack dancing parrapara
you can use instant transmission also to get to your downed allies. it's marginal, but it's still a useull added effect
Charged ki wave is more usefull when you can take a step back and charge, if you need a quick bost of stamina Rise to action works better. both uses one bar, the former eventually gets you 2-and-a-half bar, the latter only one. it has a resource optimization thing going on
Wall of defense is good, but horribly punishable
holstein shock is usable for gimmicks build, especially now that there's that thing with power to overcome, but honestly, why?
I can see emperor sign be used in a "support" build for a namekkian, you can scale it quite a bit, but still, not the best approach
drain field I have personal memories. player that breaks my guard, steps back to do the whole "setup and ulti" and I go SIIIIIIIIP. it was funny
the dancing parapara always forces the enemy to do the WHOLE dance, and it's lingering hitbox means that enemies can move into the dance while it's going, leaving them open while you already finished also, it has no upper limit to the number of affected enemies. if you're playing in teams, you can make some nefarious combo out of that
I still miss when Rise to Action gave 2 bars. I remember my loadout never went without it for ages because I liked having so much control over my stamina. Definitely seems like it was a well deserved and healthy nerf but I can hold that nostalgia anyway lol
Just a reminder that yes time control knocks you back when they hit you but can also be very well with grabs or ultimates with grabbing properties.
Meteor Explosion, Time Skip Molotov, Darkness Rush, Apocalyptic Burst, Special Beam Canon (Beast) and Circle flash all work stupidly well with Time control.
Time control is an easy Z tier cause you’re NOT supposed to treat it like a basic attack combo starter you’re supposed to use it as a free ultimate, grab, or supper attack opportunity.
If I remember correctly, lullaby punch went extremely well with the unexpected present move which made the spring version pop out at an increased chance. Not sure if they changed that though.
imo i would say that holstien shock should be in D cause you could use that to damage yourself and then change bodies which for PVP can work really well
Before the level ups from the dlc and power to overcome’s infinite ki happened holstein shock could let you spam revenge death ball with its full power charge in pqs by draining your hp to critical. Now that people have way too much hp to do low hp strats it lost every bit of niche it could have outside of body swap shenanigans.
Aight so since no one’s gonna mention this I’ll do It, so with Super Afterimage if you have no ki, and you punch your opponent, after the punch you can use Super Afterimage for a brief moment, I’m not sure what’s the name of the tech but someone named Maythem&Madness called it Super Afterimage tier 3 so there’s that
It’s pretty situational but you can do some crazy shit with this, TheLastZombie200 was the one who found it and he’s crazy with it
Also one more thing in PvP backflip is basically God Tier, putting it in D tier is the biggest rage bait I’ve seen in a while
