Sunshine is a cool suburb. Mad Vietnamese rolls, pho, arab and African shops, free parking for 3 hours at a massive complex 😂
No where is Melbourne is so bad that you walk around and get killed like you would in many other countries. People live in fear for no reason. Just don't side-eye groups of random people. Pretty much gonna get a bad reaction anywhere from doing that.

I was 12 when I came to Footscray in the early eighties, and it was nothing like it is now. I remember the European community, the bustling streets, and a different atmosphere. It feels much more run-down now, with vandalism, dirt, and a sense of moral decline. I don’t go there anymore, especially at night, because I no longer feel safe. Footscray passed away a long time ago for me. I’ll always miss what it once was.

most areas arent dangerous unless you get involved with the wrong elements, even then most of the stuff you would need to worry about happens behind closed doors etc

I visited Melbourne Australia for the first time from Athens, Georgia and I stayed in sunshine because of how low the prices were . I had no issues there. I’d say it safer than average American neighborhood.

I thinks theres no other town in the world like FOOTSCRAY. Its the most unique mix of humans on planet earth. Highly recommended for all walks of life.
