Brilliant I live. InI scarborough its a lovely place with 2 gorgeous  beaches and a castle

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much chewing gum stuck to pavements as I have in Scarborough. I know Scarborough quite well and I’m sorry but it’s not a place I found particularly attractive, it long ago lost its glow in my opinion. Too many arcades along the seafront and although the beach is actually quite nice, there’s never anywhere to park that doesn’t involve quite a long walk. It’s become very busy over the years (as has everywhere) imo only makes everything much less appealing.


A bit of context: My parents moved from York to Scarborough hoping that being nearer to the coast would mean grandchildren could come and stay in the summer and spend long days on the beach. The last due to my mother’s passing, it was but a pipe dream.

I went to that joke shop last time in the 80's.
I bet they don't sell glass stink bombs anymore lol.

Enjoyed the Video mate. Scarborough is my favourite place.  Just subscribed to you. I do similar content " Andy's Scarborough Adventures ", just Scarborough video's on mine up to now but aim to cover all Yorkshire area's. Will be doing one on York in the coming weeks.

Really sad that the George Michael  Resturant is closed down. I never got to go , but I wish when I was down that way, I went, It had been in Scarborough I think for over 40 years
