Someone needs to get this guy proper funding so he can make us a full length episode 🔥

1:09 the briefest flash of the outline of the Radiance right as the Knight hits THK with the Dream Nail is sooooooo tough

1:13 What are we gonna do, fight the sun?

I actually love the proportions make Ghost not look like a child yet still feel small in comparison to everything else

"Mr. President, another peak Hollow Knight animation has hit the fandom."

The way the intro shots are taken so close to ghost that it makes him look huge but then hollow knight appears and you realize who's the genuine "big threat" here

0:47 im sorry.... does he tank the attack in the impact frames with BAULDER'S SHELL!!??????

0:43 decending dark to dodge there with invincibility frames
0:49 his eyes turn slightly darker as he regains control and stabs himself 🔥🔥🔥

0:24 Finally, another level 5 nail animation design.

This might be the best humanization design I have seen in this fandom. I think the only innaccurate part of this design is the size of Ghost's and Hornet's mask is smaller than it's supposed to be, And even then, That's probably intended.

No way, a humanization design that accurately captures the huge size difference between Ghost and the Hollow Knight? Amazing!

Awesome exoskeleton detailing that really makes the characters look like bugs. Also love the Void Heart charm as a cloak clasp.

We need MOAR!

Really like how the knight's movement really feels like a player's movement. Standing there waiting for the dash cooldown to dodge the attack. And the animation is peak

I thought this was an ageless vessel design at first, with them being bigger. Nope, vessels are still to scale, you just made it 30x freakier that they get so big. Kudos

Love how massive The Hollow Knight is - really dig animation that plays with scale
A few details i'm noticing that are notably neat:
At 0:13(and later) you can see the knight has the voidheart
At 0:33 the knight needs 3 hits to break each chain, like in the game
At 0:45 the knight is charging a nail art, but is interrupted
You can see the knight get hit but protected with Baldur Shell in impact frames at 0:47
Hornet`s needle at 1:03 has the hive pattern, as it is made of hivesteel
There is Radiance's silhouette at 1:10 for a frame
On a more general note, love how the bodies of the characters look, especially the messed up body of THK. The animation on shadow dashes is gorgeous and every single one is a treat. The closeup on the knight's eye at the start and end are great as well

That final shot of the Knight looking at the Radiance is terrifying. From a distance, the Knight's eyes look calm and empty, but up close, the void looks violent and hungry.

I love the charm as a pin for his cloak

One of the best animations I've ever seen. All the little details are incredible- the hivesteel on hornets needle, the different charms being used like baldurs shell and dashmaster, the radience popping up for a second when the knight dream nails thk, and just the animation in general is incredible, like the shadow work at 0:06? Masterpiece.

I really like how soulless (ironically) Ghost's eyes look in this. Combined with the somewhat stiff movements, really makes it feel more 'barely alive', which seems fitting.

I think this is the universe telling me to finally play Hollow Knight and Silk Song. Both of them have been in my library for forever now lol
