Hii! I'm stone - music composer and sprite artist (and many other thinjgs), we are currently working on a patch for the dialogues, fixing awckward writing and removing "lore bombs". Elian (the mod creator) is working on a feature that makes the lore less intrusive. We thank you a lot for playing our mod! We are so excited to deliver the next updates, you have no idea how many hours we are spending on this project, and seeing the community embrace it makes all the effort worthwhile.
The mod will posses more cutscenes and the cutscene you saw is being reworked - because it was made on my cellphone hahha. Now I will remake it on my PC now that I have a drawing tablet. Anyways, thank you so much! ❤

fans : fine, I'll do it myself

“forgotten kingdoms is currently in early access, if you encounter any bugs...' BUT BUGS ARE EVERYWHERE :3

Hornet feels so out of character here.

This mod looks really cool. It's EXTREMELY GOOD for a fan project. But they definitely could use a scriptwriter. The dialogue is stunted and mostly filled with exposition dumps. With that added on it is pretty much a professional work.

Well one more thing, I don't think they do the colour balancing very well. This may sound like a nitpick. Blue Caves and Crimson Ways are simply WAAAYYY too blue and red. The Sandy area isn't so bad also suffers from it a little bit. I feel like they don't need the extreme blue/red tint. It especially obscures the admittedly VERY good background art in the red are (blue area was mostly fine)
Edit: I think this is mostly a Red Area concern. If you look at the boss fight you can just see: Following the boss is really really hard. Sometimes following the boss should be hard but I don't think it was intended there? The saturation is super low already and with boss and arena being black/dark red it just looks much worse than it could.

I also think the platforming was great. It looks extremely fun. One issue only. Just the lack of Cling grips is apparent. Which's weird like you can have all the walls be a deathzone and still have some grip zones but they were mostly missing unless it was used to introduce an extended session without saves but still giving the players a break. Especially with Magnetide platforms they force fast paces parkouring I'd have expected them more.

Music is super fun. Sometimes more Silksongy, sometimes more unique which is exactly the combination you want.

For a fan made mod its really good...
Dialogue is a bit wonky and ambiguous, other than that, its good ..

looks pretty cool but iffy writing. the first thing hornet said made me go "she would not say that"

Joke about encounteeing bugs 10/10 video

(I would've clicked away in indignation if it wasn't there)

Everyone say thank you cometcake577 for making peak mods like this possible

This mod blew me off my door hinges, WHAT

Wow this is amazing, honestly insane what the fans can do when they love a franchise so much just creating expansions! Hope to see more of this 🔥

cant wait until you play silksoul!

Halfway through the video i just wanna say the lore ideas present here are quite amazing. If that was indeed the pale king during the distant memory, then the blue cavers are noted as direct inspiration for the kings proudest personal achievement and most frequently visited place, the city of tears. If those were the implications, absolutely amazing case of visual storytelling. now i finish video

Wow, this is pretty well done.

I now headcanon the that the knight went through this just to fall to kings pass
