I just want to legally watch Kamen Rider man

As genuine pitches they don't really help anything but as fan fiction that acknowledges that fact I can see the fun in

Really simple

Adaptations are fun as shit

Agreed it just needs the anime treatment which thankfully Toei is starting to do I'm HOPING we get Wizard on Blu Ray soon

Lot of kamen rider fans want more adaptation like Zero-One or Build

We should focus can getting more kamen rider anime (adapting the kuuga manga, black manga, etc) and more reimagining of seasons, and American comics like the Zero-One comic.

I mostly want to see an adaptation to see what they can do/have it can failed.

Let's left American adaptation for fan projects like fan comic or fan animation

Thomas jujube has made the Rider potential videos but that's all they are is just hypothetical videos of how this might go or that goes. And yeah almost had it when Zero-one aired TV Asesehi or whatever there name is simulcasted the first episode until they locked it behind a VPN wall

It's sad that Dragon Knight didn't do so amazing, it wasn't really that bad tbh.

Plus the fighting scenes are awesome and genuinely interesting

I've got my tickets for Shin Kamen Rider and have five friends confirmed showing up too and counting! Let's make the theaters are full and engage with Toei to see the results. I disagree that releasing Sentai is a conflict of interest as I believe when it comes to America they have a different audience.

The first dub English of Ultraman this year? I thought its already there a long time ago???

And for kamen rider... They don't sell CDs, never once. I don't get why-

The way I'd "adapt" kamen rider,is just a straight dub with the occasional rewrite on wordplay to make puns work. Btw zeztz is simulcasting, and I love

I think the bigger issue with Kamen Rider vs. the Super Sentai adaptations is the just the absolute mad levels of licensing with regards to Kamen Rider period because it's not unlike the licensing madness regarding say Macross or Ultraman.  The power rangers deal was a once in a lifetime deal that was only possible because of how direct the licensing for between Toei and Saban.   Ultraman got it's licensing and simulcasting issues fixed once that endless lawsuit with Sampei Productions and their scummy contract was finally settled for the copyrights so it allowed for direct releases and it's back catalog with next to no middleman.  But Kamen Rider? It's not just Toei, it's also Tv Asahi and a host of oddly specific niche Japanese licensing stuff that reads like an insane labyrinth of production committees.  That would need to be smoothed out to the point where you can do simulcasting so everybody in the chain since the 60's over there is going to demand their piece for each season getting licensed. Dodgy Japanese legal agreements from the 1970's are like the final boss of popular Japanese media access.

I should also note that what's really funny right now is that MMPR is more or less dead at this point with Hasbeen er, I mean Hasbro having sold off everything but the kitchen sink for it and other than the comics (which are also petering out) there's no longer a need for an MMPR type show anymore if you can just get the Sentai more or less off of the shelf at a decent price from Shout factory now.

true

and now we have Zeztz!

Showa from the future here, Kamen Rider Zeztz will get a simultaneous western release this year!!!

"sToP pItChInG kAmEn RiDeR aDaPtAtIoNs gUyS" 🤡

Toei: Adapting ALL of them...? Is Suicide It's not about the money my friend.. If your Dubbing ALL of them? That's Optional. But Adpating them is like HELL Mode and NIGHTMARE Mode on Steroids, The Time, The Production, the Voicing, the editing... God do not get me started on WHERE we should give it do in the USA nowadays... This feels like pure insanity

Thank you!
I'm so sick of how whenever a new Sentai is announced, people on forums won't shut the hell up about how they think it'll be adapted. I just think it's time to stop the adaptations in general, power rangers is, as you said, very much a relic of the 90's.

Correct, recapturing the lightning in a bottle of MMPR is impossible. The hardest pill to swallow is Power Rangers only succeeded because you were a child in the 90s. If MMPR was in the 2000's to 2010's, cultural shift aside, that shit would not fly even if the seasons were closer to sentai.

The Solution for getting Kamen Rider bigger is Toei selling seasons digitally or reaching out to Netflix or Crunchyroll. If a normie tiktok girlie saw Kamen Rider Build when looking for MHA her BakuDeku will go the way of Woody in that one scene in Toy Story 1.

Third times the charm it took 3 times for super sentai to get a Successful adaptation
