The chin is obviously a consumable item

People forget man, Joe Rogan trains martial arts for his entire life and he still doesn't understand what he's talking about. People also forget man, Jon Jones developed a spinning back kick at the age of 37

Y'all didn't know that everyone's chin has an invisible healthbar?

In general, in Internet culture you're either goated or trash

It only recently occurred to me that a lot of “fans” don’t understand the difference in “striking” and “boxing”… That’s a significant distinction.

Thank you che , I can now explain these points to the kids in my paediatrics posting

The "chin" being lost is just a fighter being figured out, hours and hours of footage recording all the mistakes they make and they start to take clean shots more often as a result.

When someone says something so Charles Oliveiraphobic you have to hit them with the Che stare 3:43

You're right about the finish based scoring but the judges don't really abide by it. Like if someone gets dropped early in a round but then the next 4.5 mins they dominate without almost finishing then 90% of judges would give it to the fighter that dominated over the guy who got closer to finishing

I think the whole "washed" thing is MMA maths, and an underappreciation of styles and gameplans. "Andy is an all-time great and Bob beat Andy so the only possible explanations are Bob is even greater or Andy is washed."

I feel like the UFC used to have long periods where the competition was not great in certain divisions which allowed some decent fighters to look like great fighters. And some of them were lucky enough to retire before the good competition showed up. Cormier is a prime example of this.

The chin thing spot on, older fighter dont get koed more because their chins are gone, its because their reflexs arent there anymore so they get hit more.
