For the blobfish, they don't ALWAYS look like a blob. Their appearance depends on the pressure. In their natural habitat, 4,000 feet below the surface of the ocean, they kinda look like the bumpy snailfish.

Cher Ami is the equivalent of an Anime Protagonist. The more you hurt him, the stronger he gets.

The pistol shrimp is what the Pokémon Clawitzer is based on!

Fun bear fact: every Grizzly is a brown bear, but not every brown bear is a Grizzly.

13:41 it is not highly venomous. He did a follow up in comments about his mistake. He mixed wolf spiders and brown recluse, dude is balancing a lot of info.

Wolf spiders make great house guests, they keep pests away and bites are rare, and insignificant, comparable to a wasp sting, unless allergic, then potentially deadly.

For the cranberry bog/wolf spider part, Parz left a comment saying he fucked up with the facts and the wolf spider is way less dangerous than he depicted. Figured you should know.

2:00 Sharks are a type of fish, the key thing that makes them different is their skeleton is made of cartilage not bone.

Wolf spiders are gentle giants, kind of like the Huntsman of Australia. They aren’t very venomous, and they tend to be pretty docile. I think they’re cute.

Cher Ami was an absolutely amazing animal!

If you like the story of Cher Ami there are many other heroic animals that have participated in war. I can highly recomend to check out Sergeant Reckless story, she was a pack horse that fought for the americans during the Korean war. Among other medals she recived two Purple Hearts and the Medal of Honor.

Not only did Cher Ami save the Lost Battalion (awesome story of soldier grit & hell of a Sabaton song) & be awarded the 1914-1918 version of the Croix de guerre but on November 14th 2019 he received from the US government the Animals in War & Peace Medal of Bravery being the 2nd ever recipient of the award for "Conspicuous gallantry or devotion to duty in war and peace." Fly high sir you damn sure earned these awards

The wallaies were just big fans of Breaking Bad. Is it a crime to have good taste?

Wolf spiders are actually great to keep around your house, they keep peats out but most imortantly they kill dangerous brown recluses who are actually dangerous, they also tend to stay out of the way and are non aggressive.

Wolf spiders well venomous are not actually all that hostile and rarely bite humans. I have played with wolf spiders with zero protection and was never bitten. They are quite timid spiders friends.

14:03 The Wolf Spiders climb on workers to escape the flood, so yes, they are along for the ride. And given that they climb on workers, workers need to be fine with spiders climbing on them. Now the workers wear a lot of waterproof clothes since they are literally wading into a flooded area, and they also wear something like a beekeepers helmet on their head, so it's likely that the Wolf Spiders never physically touch the worker's skin. But many people aren't even fine with seeing a spider, let alone having a bunch of them crawl all over your clothes.

1:07 the blobfish

I like the little wiggle she does for music.

You never heard of blobfish? wild. They still look derpy when down at their natural water pressure, but when they are brought up their body blobs out because of the pressure difference

13:54 I actually rescued someone who fell into a cranberry swamp once

I love how some people with all the seriousness of attending a funeral will say, "Not the animals!  The people getting bombarded by shells?  Forget them!  You can take them out.  But you go after the animals, I will personally end you!"
