3:27 Not quite, Dan Povenmire decided that Perry should be green back in the late 90's.
Scientists only found out about the glowing green under UV light bit in late 2020.

2:12 Fun fact! The creator of Parry the Platypus was thrilled when he found out about the whole glowing teal thing. He did not choose that color for any particular reason, he just liked it. Bonus fact, he also voices Dr Droofenshmrtz. He actually has a really active social media account and makes some really funny videos.

There's actually a reason why Neil attack cones it's because he's teaching himself how to fight so he can fight other Southern Elephant Seal Bulls when he's older but having the lore that he just hates cones is so funny that I love it

Niel the seal is such a sweetheart, I love him 😂😂😂

In the summer of 2025 someone dropped a poor little kitten on my parents property, my sibling named her Crow. And the day Crow went to the vet to be spayed, is the same day Moreparz released the Sturddle Fish video.

Crow is doing great BTW.

I saw a platypuse wearing a fedora fighting a pharmacist on tv for several years.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Why does everyone keep thinking I’m a pharmacist? Okay that’s it I’m going to med school.

Imagine going to a prestigious university to get a degree in zoology... Only to end up getting a job as the guy who microwaves fish sploodge.

0:46 Yup, they don't have nipples so they can't nurse normally. Also the way their milk glands are situated, the milk is red due to having a little bit of blood in it. Oh and 2:27 They actually need those abilities because their eyes do not work well underwater! The semi aquatic mammal, who spends most of their life in water, has worse eyesight underwater than humans. When underwater, they are functionally blind.

Platypus was created when God had a "bring your child to work day" 🤣

Fun fact, we used to eat the groundhog after he made his predictions. We don't anymore... at least some parts of the world don't...

It’s always a great day to see more and more Vtubers get a proper introduction to the Moreparz cinematic universe.

Absolutely enjoyed seeing your reaction.

Platypus are actually literally among the oldest Mammal groups to exist, period. As in, Monotremes are mammals with no nipples nor external genitals and lay eggs out of a cloaca. So literally what mammals were before they evolved all the main mammal traits. As in Jurassic Period anatomy mammals.

"DLC animal" is crazy, they really do look like they came from Earth's equivalent of the Spore Creepy & Cute parts pack

6:04 Ah another fellow warrior against the dreaded picnic ants in your kitchen... I feel your pain.

@SmashElite16 7 months ago

5:50 True! As someone that lives in South Alabama, fire ants are a BIG problem in my yards.

I've read that anteaters do eat fire ants. They're not immune to the bites, but their skin is saggy, so they don't feel the bites as badly as us. I wouldn't want one as a pet, maybe rent one or something.

Another egg-laying mammal is the echidna.

@Telleryn 7 months ago

With the sweat milk thing, it's not that their sweat is milk, but that instead of nipples the milk oozes from their skin in what are basically modified sweat glands near their front legs

11:44-11:52 this was too perfect

@Gorgrog1001 6 months ago

3:28 no, that was just a design choice that ended up being accurate to platypus lore

@Genyosai03 6 months ago

Instead of getting an anteater, you could hire a guy to pour aluminium into the ant nest, solidifying it, dig it up, spray it off, and turn it into an art piece( I've seen videos of this, they look awesome)
