AION 2 has a MASSIVE problem, and players are getting frustrated.

Bots are taking over gathering spots, automated farming is becoming a serious concern, and RMT (Real Money Trading) is raising questions about the future of AION 2 Global.

Despite AION 2's massive launch, the community is increasingly worried about botting, the in-game economy, and how NC will handle the situation.

In this video, we break down the bot infestation, RMT concerns, player reactions, and what this could mean for AION 2's future.

Are bots ruining AION 2 for you? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

I decided to start crafting yesterday and looking for log nodes and man I found 1 in like. 20min so I gave up

I really wanted this to be a good game. It's just more NCSoft trash.

Give me admin privileges and I’ll go ban these bots manually. You don’t have even have to pay me for my time 💪🏼

Also, no one talks about the 3-second freeze—especially in dungeons—which then causes you to die as well.

At this point I’m convinced the devs bot their own games to make money off other players. The massive bot farms are probably them. It couldn’t be a coincidence.

They need to give us our own nodes, similar to gw2, so we're not competing with gathering

@Desologaming 20 hours ago

It's almost like the SAME exact thing happened on BOTH tw AND kr (even having a paywall) Couldnt have done ANYTHING?!?!

The most hard is when you need to found mats but when bots took it you only see empty land. I wish they use marking when farmable or not. Ur lucky if you found one before bots took it. I use map pin but limited to 30.

Finally hit 45 yesterday I'm going to play it until botting or other makes it not fun

i'm on an early access server and I get the captcha OR the gathering-restriction for "repetitive behaviour" everytime I just do normal gathering. Like a normal person. Even hittings mobs while searching for nodes that are available doesnt help sometimes. Its insane how even I GET FLAGGED like this. Can't imagine what its like for f2p :I

Let the bots run so they get more subs and “active player” numbers, but ban right at the end when players buy gold in their websites.

Its a win win situation here for them, since it still forces people to buy from the company and not from botters when its 100x cheaper.

I never understood this mmo companies. 2 or 3 dedicated GMs on each server and probably solved, and do no wait a week or 2 to ban in a messive wave ban them right away or they will brake the economy

They will not do anything, those bots are subscribers.

Now I know why they place the market under subscription.

Think about it right? Why wouldn’t they bot farm their own games? They can make money from bot farms, make money from subs, battle pass, make money from cosmetics, and make money from selling materials / gear. They can also just ban the players buying from the bots over time. They may not do it the first time but after a couple times to maximize their profits. Chances are if someone is going to buy from bots they’ll keep buying from them.

Not to mention if the devs have their own bot farms, it makes the player count look huge. It’s beneficial for the devs to bot.

SPID TY. I have had the same issue.... I have no issue farming in every game, i tend to "go hard" no pun. Ive have been blocked from farming MANY times now and using their own macro I get combat warned as well to let go of my macro. This 1mil lockout to "stop bots" is bullshit, its another mechanic to punish players. This shit is nuts. Thank You for calling it out!

@luisvillalobos5009 19 hours ago

Same thing that happened to Lost Ark, Throne and Liberty, I'm not really surprised, just enjoy the game as you can while you can

A friend got of mine got restricted from gathering the game thought it was a bot so now they are not allowed to gather anything don’t know long it is

i tried to complete 7 conquest dungeons. 4 times i had at least 2 bots in the random lobby and we couldnt kill the bosses and 3 times people were leaving left and right. I spent 1,5h trying to complete at least one dungeon
