I have no idea why more Korean devs can't just implement BDO's style of market. Sure, having a min-max price cap and a waiting list for high-demand items is pretty restrictive, but that's a trade-off I'm willing to make to have far fewer bot parasites ruining the fun for everyone. I saw fewer bots in my few years of playing BDO than in a single week of Aion 2.

For some reason, on my server, the bots all on Asmodian and not Elyos

Aion 1 had a massive bot problem as well, thats why I stopped playing it a long time ago

Btw this affects the ENTIRE MAP. The bots are not just in starting zones but even end game ones. No matter where you go there will be bots stealing your resources. It has been impossible to level my gathering abilities.

Early access was the shit for gathering. Now i can't get a 10th of what i was able to almost halting casual leveling up all my crafting.

Every bot is a source of revenue for the game's publisher. Do you really think they're going to ban bots permanently? They'll let them run for a week, then wait for bot users to buy the bot again, and the cycle continues. After that, they'll come to you and say, "Look, everyone, we banned this many bots this week. There are no bots anymore. We're fighting against them." And you'll be naive enough to believe the problem has been solved and continue playing the game. Good luck guys im done already :D

I think the resources should be instanced. I already don't like the vibe of players having to compete against each other to grab them. The delay of the time it actually takes to harvest and the possibility of failure is already a bottleneck.

The nodes are spawn server side and send packets that contain x/z/y coords to the client. Their application sniffs the packets looking for this and other data: Because they're bots they can react immediately. All data can be sniffed that is coming into your device - this is how FF14 botting works too. Botters in FF14 are able to run around UNDER the game world so you rarely see them but they're there.

Saw at least two instances on day 1 of F2P where a couple of bots got stuck on each other trying to reach a node. At least half a dozen times, I’ve been collecting something only for a bot to autopath over to me, steal it, and return to its loop. I love these MMOs that die in two months.

the issue lies in the game design itself. If your going to make a gathering node limited and shared across all people in the server, your setting up an environment where players need to race each other for each node. The next logic step in that race is a bot that will do it instantly and automatically. Bots wouldnt be necceasry if the nodes werent shared or limited. They created this environment.

I've already uninstall. Can't even level gathering. Bots all over the place. I don't have the patience for this anymore.

It is insane.  I saw a pine of 20+ swarming a node.  The new trick is that a group of 2 or 3 rushing a node.  The idea is to get all 3 havrests per node so no one else can get any.   Crazy and disappointing.  They keep popping up the verifying feature that you have to enter the letters and numbers.

they are now in Shugo's games. I was trying to farm meat, and when I realized it was useless, I checked the market place and behold, stacks of 400 available for purchase. It is a sad state of affair. Thank you for your video.

if they can decode where spawn points are for materials, they can also decode spawn points for secret cubes.

There should be some GMs in those areas looking for things like this. Why don't games have GMs anymore?

the solution is so simple to make that resource nodes not shared. but thats not the point, bots making them money by making legit players desperate and makes them buy real money currencies.

Well, now we know how they have 400k concurrent users. They have 50k and a whole lotta bots.

I was playing today and it was out of control. I would look around and nobody is there as soon as I start gathering all of a sudden 5 people are right on that spot. You can tell they are bots because if there is already 3 people they just stand there until the node is gone.

Is that why I can't find wood in the game.  I hate when people start stealing my spots when I start gathering.  It is so annoying.
