This game and halo was essentially my whole childhood

Bro this game on PS2 as a kid playing it in elementary school? Shit was legendary. The puke arrows? The gore? The gun play? The DINOSAURS? This thing slapped in the early 2000s bro. For the time it was legendary.

I have this game and it is my personal intro into the turok series. So far I love it. All original xbox games just feel so magical to me still. The Nostalgia of those outdated graphics, I could spend decades in those old horizons

I remember it blew my mind that you can poison enemies and watch them throw up. All the little nuances they put into how your weapons affect enemies always stood out to me. Good times.

My cousins and I went absolutely crazy on the multiplayer maps.

Had this on the Gamecube back in the day. 4-player splitscreen was incredibly fun. Can confirm.

This is one of my favorite OG Xbox games ever, god I love Turok. Morrowind prob takes the cake and Halo 1-2, but this is a true hidden gem.

I remember being super excited for this game, i was following its release date very closed.

loved playing the multiplayer and tricking my cousin into getting the death mask lmaoooooo

Loved this game, particularly the multiplayer.

I remember Acclaim banking a lot on this game being a big hit.  It sold, but not enough to help save them from bankruptcy.  I remember the game being bundled with a lot of PS2's/GameCubes back in the day, hence why loads of kids got this as a pack-in game during the early 2000's.  You tend to find the more nostalgic comments on YT are from gamers that were kids at the time.  Personally, for me on Xbox, it was OK, not a threat to the many other better 1st person shooters on the Xbox at the time.  You can tell the PS2 was the base development platform, and the levels/graphics have that PS2 twang to them.  It definitely wasn't worth the full whack on release, but the game goes for pennies now and easily worth a blast for £4.

This was one of the first games I had on the gamecube. I loved it at the time but struggled whenever I went back to it

I played the shit out of this game. It has some REALLY COOL areas and set pieces. Like the level where you're fighting through the city. Love the part with the giant bridge. Also the level where you're flying through the city as all the giant skyscrappers are collapsing around you. I also love how theres tons of animals NPCs in all the maps.

This was actually my favorite game on the gamecube back in the day. I was an uncultured child.

This was one of my all time favorite games on the ps2. Cause we originally got a Ps2 from dumpster diving back in like 06 or 07. And found turok at a pawnshop for like 10 bucks.

But because none of my family knew what a memory card was or what they did. Every time i died or had to turn off the console. I had to restart from the beginning. So each day, i would try to see how far I could get. The 2nd level where you fly was always the hardest as a kid to beat. Now i beat that level first try. Unbeknownst to me I was speedrunning the game before I even knew what speed running was.

I loved it so much I bought it on GameCube and Xbox.

My family’s favorite game to play for a while this game was awesome, really would love a new game like this

I still bust this out when the boys come over! The multiplayer is so much fun! We always swore a truce that we wouldn't use the swarm bore attachment for the launcher but it never lasts 🤣

The pterodactyl section had me break multiple controllers back in the day 🤣 one of my favourite games in the og xbox

You’ve been on a roll with the videos, cheers bud!
